1. Limit 1 entry per section, per person.2. Entries must be the original and unaided work of the

entrant, completed since October 2014 (within the last 24 months), and not having won a prize in any art competition, excluding Rural Agricultural Shows.

3. All 2D works must be mounted and framed ready for hanging with large ‘D’ hooks, wire or cord. Stretched canvasses are considered framed.

4. Budget Steel Sculpture Award: sculpture must be under 1.5m in height and 75cm wide or deep.

5. Bryan Moore Ceramic Award: wheel thrown or hand-built ceramic works. 60cm in any one direction.

6. A commission of 25% (plus 10% GST applicable to commission portion) applies to sold work. Please include this in your selling price. All works are for sale, unless specified NFS.

7. Clear identification must appear on back of each entry, marked with artist’s name, address, telephone number, section, medium, title of work, price or NFS. Use supplied labels or similar.

8. Size of 2D works limited to 1.5m in any direction, including frame. Miniatures: area of miniature must not exceed 10cmsq, i.e. 10x10cm, 8x12cm, 6x14cm. No side of frame greater than 30cm.

9. No photographs, digital images, installations or work requiring 240v power will be accepted in any section.

10. All expenses relating to insurance, delivery, packaging, posting and transport are the responsibility of the entrant, including return costs. A repacking fee of $5 per entry for sent items must be included in entry fees.

11. Delivery and collection of work as per details on reverse. Uncollected work will be stored at the venue at owner’s risk. A $10 storage fee will apply per artist to any works arriving before, or collected after the stated times (regardless). Works not collected within three months become the property of Gympie Regional Council.

12. All reasonable care will be taken with works, but Gympie Regional Gallery accepts no responsibility for loss or damage.

13. Work may be photographed without fee while on display, for publicity and documenting purposes only.

14. Due to limited space and the Gallery priding itself in the display of the competition, an attempt will be made to display all works, but reserves the right without explanation not to hang all entries.

15. All entries complying with the conditions will be judged, and the decision of the judge is final and binding. If any situation arises not covered by the conditions, it will be resolved by the Gallery within 30 days.

16. Entry fees are non-refundable.
