    In Bel Air - Holmby Hills there were 9 single family home sales in January 2016, down from 15 in January 2015 and a 29%

    increase from the 7 sales closed last month. The average list price for single family home sales in January 2016 was

    $5,078,667 compared to $4,742,600 for January 2015, representing a 7% increase. For the three-month period from

    November to January 2016, the average list price was 44% higher than the same period of the prior year. Average sales

    price for January 2016 was $4,308,323, compared to that of November through January 2016, which was $5,346,605.

    These results indicate that the sale price is trending down. Comparing January 2016 to December 2015, Bel Air - Holmby

    Hills saw a 40% decrease in average sale price, and a 1% decrease compared to same month of the prior year.

    JANUARY MARKET OVERVIEW

    BEVERLY CENTER - MIRACLE MILE

    In Beverly Center - Miracle Mile there were 11 single family home sales in January 2016, up from 8 in January 2015 and a

    8% decrease from the 12 sales closed last month. The average list price for single family home sales in January 2016 was

    $1,803,723 compared to $1,396,125 for January 2015, representing a 29% increase. For the three-month period from

    November to January 2016, the average list price was 2% higher than the same period of the prior year. Average sales

    price for January 2016 was $1,760,545, compared to that of November through January 2016, which was $1,601,770.

    These results indicate that the sale price is trending up. Comparing January 2016 to December 2015, Beverly Center -

    Miracle Mile saw a 38% increase in average sale price, and a 28% increase compared to same month of the prior year.

    JANUARY MARKET OVERVIEW

    BEVERLY HILLS

    In Beverly Hills there were 13 single family home sales in January 2016, up from 11 in January 2015 and a 13% decrease

    from the 15 sales closed last month. The average list price for single family home sales in January 2016 was $5,618,769

    compared to $6,623,818 for January 2015, representing a 15% decrease. For the three-month period from November to

    January 2016, the average list price was 17% lower than the same period of the prior year. Average sales price for January

    2016 was $5,483,385, compared to that of November through January 2016, which was $6,671,147. These results indicate

    that the sale price is trending down. Comparing January 2016 to December 2015, Beverly Hills saw a 36% decrease in

    average sale price, and a 13% decrease compared to same month of the prior year.

    Beverly Hills Post Office is home to grand estates, mansions and large

    traditional homes as well as some of the most celebrated gated communities

    in the area, including Mulholland Estates, The Summit, Beverly Ridge Estates

    and perhaps the most famous, Beverly Park. Lying outside of the City of

    Beverly Hills limits, Beverly Hills Post Office is part of Los Angeles, but is

    JANUARY MARKET OVERVIEWIn Culver City there were 16 single family home sales in January 2016, up from 11 in January 2015 and a 36% decrease

    from the 25 sales closed last month. The average list price for single family home sales in January 2016 was $970,756

    almost matching $949,091 for January 2015. For the three-month period from November to January 2016, the average

    list price was 14% higher than the same period of the prior year. Average sales price for January 2016 was $942,563,

    compared to that of November through January 2016, which was $1,041,565. These results indicate that the sale price

    is trending down. Comparing January 2016 to December 2015, Culver City saw a 14% decrease in average sale price, but

    JANUARY MARKET OVERVIEWIn Malibu there were 10 single family home sales in January 2016, down from 12 in January 2015 and a 47% decrease from

    the 19 sales closed last month. The average list price for single family home sales in January 2016 was $2,835,900 almost

    matching $2,744,417 for January 2015. For the three-month period from November to January 2016, the average list price

    was 45% higher than the same period of the prior year. Average sales price for January 2016 was $2,713,400, compared

    to that of November through January 2016, which was $3,628,443. These results indicate that the sale price is trending

    down. Comparing January 2016 to December 2015, Malibu saw a 36% decrease in average sale price, but a 8% increase

    compared to same month of the prior year.
