was feared and later killed for his beliefs.

Plato: Student of Socrates and wrote down

Socrates teachings in Dialogues.

The Republic: Plato’s book describing the

ideal government with philosophers as leaders, workers

to build and soldiers to defend.

Aristotle: Student of

Plato and father of the system called

“logic”-gather evidence then use

reason.
