The Greek Orthodox Church of the Assumption wel-comes people of all ethnic backgrounds. We are a multicultural parish with Greek heritage roots. In addi-tion, we welcome you regardless of where you may be in your spiritual journey. Our purpose here is to grow in our holiness, to become Saints unto the glory of God. Hence we are a sacra-

mental, life changing church. We focus on both understanding scripture and receiving communion, the Body and Blood of our Lord, at every Sunday Liturgy. Within our parish we strive to develop our life of prayer, to develop meaningful and honest friendships and to care for those in need as directed by our Lord himself. If you would like to sink your roots into a family friendly and loving parish envi-ronment, we feel you will find a home at the Church of the Assumption. Sharing This booklet describes the many ministries the Assumption has to offer. It will show you the ways you can contribute to the work of our parish. Assumption could not function without the dedicated members of the parish who self-lessly give their time and talents for this community. Everyone is encouraged to participate in the areas that are of interest to them.
