DISTRICT 6 & friends Arts Walk March 3, 2017 5-8pm District 6 & Friends Arts Walk Welcome to the second annual District 6 & Friends Art Walk celebrating Youth Art Month and Music in our Schools Month. This spectacular event will showcase artwork created by hundreds of students attending District 6 and Charter Schools from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Come celebrate this one of a kind “First Friday” event by experiencing the exhibits at 24 different downtown Greeley locations featuring 25 area schools. Be sure to stop by and see the K-12 theme show, “Putting Your Best Foot Forward” at the Academy of Natural Therapy located at 625 8th Avenue. Students have creatively interpreted this theme in 2D and 3D works of art. A special addition to this event is the opportunity to view college level artwork at various mapped locations. Along with the artwork, enjoy live music at various locations marked on the map, watch and participate in the Flash Mob dance, and work on the collaborative community artwork.
