Rating the environmental performance of a building is necessary to ensure that it’s green credentials incorporate both the visible and invisible elements that make it ‘green’….invisible methods like energy efficiency are often more important and can only be identified and recorded by rating or certification.

Why Green Rating Systems?

South

EastWest

• Measure the ‘invisible elements’ of a building

• Provide benchmarks and checklists of performance

• Provide positive motivational sustainability goals
