GymnasiumOur double gymnasium contains two regulation basket-ball courts and 6 backboards. Times are set aside for open gym, family hoops, pickup games and volleyball.
AGES: Children under 8 may use the gym with adult su-pervision. Check schedule for age restricted play times.
Wellness CenterWe offer a wide range of cardiovascular equipment and free weights, plus a full-body circuit of strength training equipment, from some of the best names in the industry, like Precor, HammerStrength, Free Motion, Atlantis and Hampton. Our staff will help you develop a healthy living plan and guide you on the way to better overall health.
AGES: 8 and under are not allowed except for family track times (below). Ages 10-12 must be with a parent and receive a wellness consultation. Ages 13-15 must have a wellness consultation and be participating in a structured fitness routine.
Walking / Jogging TrackSurrounding the Wellness Center and gymnasium is a 1/8 mile walking and jogging track with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Age restrictions are the same as the wellness center, except for family track times. Family Track Times for ages 6 to 9 with adults are:

Indoor AquaticsOur indoor aquatics area is designed with family fun in mind. Whether you’re looking for a place for the kids to splash around, water relaxation, water slides or lap swimming, there’s something for everyone. The indoor pool temperature is kept at 84 degrees to for water exercise partici-pants and recreational swimmers. We also offer aquatics classes like group exercise, group les-sons, and private lessons. Please check the pool schedule prior to your visit, as certain areas of the pool may not be open.
AGES: 9-12 may enter the pool with an adult in the building. Ages 8 and under may use the pool with adult supervision.
Locker/Changing RoomsOur locker rooms contain both walled and handi-cap accessible showers. Lockers are for daily use and are all first-come-first-served. Two fam-ily changing rooms are available to the left of the lobby.
AGES: Children of the opposite gender ages 6 and older, or guests needing assistance must use the family changing room or gender specific locker rooms.
Party and Rental RoomsTo the left of the lobby is a birthday party room which can also be rented with a variety of pre-planned party options. To the right of the lobby is a large multi-purpose room that can be parti-tioned into three smaller rooms. These spaces can be used for recreation programs, group meetings and more.
What’s Here?We’re excited to introduce the Roanoke Valley’s newest place to play! This 76,000-square-foot center features healthy recreation based activities focused on fun for the entire family. As Roa-noke County’s first purpose-built recreation facility, Green Ridge contains a large wellness and fitness areas and the region’s most unique aquatic facilities, and all within a 15-minute drive of most of the Roanoke Valley. It’s yours to enjoy through membership, daily admission, program participation and facility rental. Attached to the center is a 20,000 square foot outdoor aquatics facility called Splash Valley. While you’re enjoying Green Ridge or Splash Valley, please keep in mind this is a family facility. Expect to see children of all ages throughout the building. Age restrictions apply to certain areas. No matter where you live, how old you are, or what you do for fun, there’s something here for you. It’s our mission to provide “Healthy Fun For Everyone”!
Splash Valley is an exciting new recreation destination, open from Memorial Day to Labor Day every year! Enjoy two 35-foot high water slides, a water sprayground, a current river, concessions and much more! It’s a great place to take guests from out of town, too. See reverse for admission rates.
Activity RoomThis unique area behind the front desk houses a wide variety of interactive gaming equipment like the Lightspace Play Floor, Blue Fit, Trazer, Makoto Sports Arena andand Wii.
