Green Space

Green space is all of the accessible green places we can visit and enjoy. They provide opportunities for recreation, relaxation, social interaction, play and spiritual refreshment.

The health benefits for most of the diseases were only seen when the greenery was within a one kilometre ( 0.62 miles ) radius of the home. The biggest impact was on anxiety disorders and depression.

• Bullpit Meadow (Crickhowell) - Seats and picnic benches can be found along the path. The tarmac path runs alongside the River Usk for 370 metres. The path continues past the footbridge for another 500 metres, but is uneven, not very wide and it can be muddy.

• Diamond Park is an environmentally sustainable park in Ystradgynlais that has been created on 14.1 hectates of the former Diamond Colliery complex.
