Signs Go Up on January 18 Banning Parkin~ on Ivy Lane

Council gave unanimous approval, without debate, to a res­olution banning parking on Ivy Lane in Capital Office Park and mandating the mar)<ing of bike lanes. City Manager Daniel Hobbs expected work crews to post the no parking signs on January 18, foHowing a week-long posting of "!\·o parking effective January 18, 1994" notices. Becaus~ the paint will not stick to cold pavement. the bike lanes will be marked whenever the city next experiences three days af temperature near 50 degrees.
