Children’s Church: Children are welcome to attend Children in Worship (preschool and kindergarten) and Little Lambs (3-4 yrs. non-preschool) programs. They leave the sanctuary and go down the NORTH stairs to the basement. You may pick them up there after the morning service. Fellowship: Everyone is invited to refreshments and fellowship following the morning service in the Fellowship Hall. DVD: If anyone would like to see a video from a past church service, they are in the rack on the information table. The most current service is at the bottom of the rack.

Strong Tower Retreat will be this weekend from Friday night through Sunday afternoon. Please be in prayer for the leaders and kids, that it will be a time of fun and fellowship, but also a time of the growing and strengthening of faith for all those attending. Pastor Greg will be on vacation starting next week and will be gone Sunday, February 25th . Pastor James Martin will be preaching. Please call your Elder if you need pastoral care.

We give thanks for the continued healing of June Dracht and Marlin Venema. Marilyn Ouwinga is doing well after her heart surgery. MaryLou Karsten will have the second cataract surgery performed tomorrow. Please be in prayer for her. Please be in prayer for Pearl Koetje as she is scheduled for back surgery next Friday (or Tuesday if there is a cancellation), to have two fractured vertebra fused. Hopefully, this will eliminate her back pain.

Please keep all missionaries in your prayers. Give them strength and

patience to do God’s work.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in

him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy

Family Dinner Night this week (February 21st ) will be chicken tenders served with mashed potatoes and gravy. Please sign up at the information table in the Fellowship Hall if you would like to donate a large crock pot of mashed potatoes. Thank you! Do you realize God’s reign is ongoing? His kingdom is both now and in the future. You are cordially invited from 5:00-6:30, to help us discover areas in which God’s reign exercises its authority today. We’d be glad to have you join us. Centershot will not be meeting Wednesday of this week. The benefit supper for the Mississippi Mission Trip will be on Thursday, February 22nd at Northern Michigan Christian School from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. There will be a girls’ basketball game, McBain vs NMCS that night. Come eat tacos to support the mission, and then enjoy the game. We would also like donations of cookies for the supper. Any leftover cookies will be taken on the trip. Mission Leader-Dennis Anderson. Volunteers are needed for a one day event. “Mock It, Then Rock It!” will help prepare 400+ high school juniors and seniors to enter the work force by giving them a chance to practice their interview and resume-writing skills. We need volunteers to interview students and critique resumes. Material will be provided (interview questions and review forms). Northland Community Church Wild Game Dinner will be this coming Saturday, February 24th at 5:30 pm. The guest speaker will be Mark Romanack, the host of the 411 television show. The cost is $10.00. The Annual Wild Beast Feast at Lucas CRC will be this coming Saturday, February 24th beginning at 5:30 pm. The guest speaker will be Tim Roller with “Whitetail Journey”. Tickets are $10.00 at the door and there will be door prizes. Raffle tickets may be purchased to win a rifle, with the proceeds going toward the Lucas CRC Diaper Pantry. The Real Women Ministry is hosting a painting party for guys/girls age 13 and up on Monday, February 26th from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Thrive Room at Resurrection Life Church in Cadillac. NMCS is blessed to be surrounded by a caring body of believers. A goal of $175,000 was set to provide scholarships for families who desire a Christian education for their children. $103,500 has been raised.
