That’s because our pebbles are composed mainly of chalcedony, enabling them to stand out against quartzite alternatives through a range of benefits.
Grind more, with less
Sibelco flint pebbles have a lower abrasion rate than competitive products. Tests conducted by an external laboratory show an abrasion rate of only +/- 37 mm³ in flint pebbles, compared to +/- 47 mm³ for alternative products.
This means less stoppage time for replacement of pebbles, an important consideration for both efficiency and safety.
