• Broadcast all 16 channels data(UHRIT) of GK-2A meteorological observations within 3 minutes(to be confirmed) from image acquisition.
• Maintain L/HRIT broadcast corresponding to COMS five channelsp g- Develop the functions to generate COMS-like L/HRIT image data from GK-2A obs.- KMA will provide technical info. on receiving GK-2A L/HRIT for COMS S/MDUSs

NMSC accomplished the construction of DCPC- NMSC and started normal operation on 29th March 2013 for providing COMS MI data as below list

• Currently, NMSC provides COMS level 1B data of all five channels and level 2 products to users by posting the processed data on NMSC website (membership is needed)website (membership is needed)
• Upgraded & more user-friendly web-based system will be established for GK-2A data service

4. Summary
NMSC will establish the GK-2A ground segment 1 year before the g g ylaunch of GK-2A(May, 2018) and carry on integrated test for smooth transition to normal operation
All 16 channels data of GK-2A AMI will be broadcast via GK-2A within 3 minutes(TBC) after an image acquisition completion.
Maintain COMS L/HRIT service with corresponding 5 channels data of GK-2A
GK-2A user conference will be held annually (or 6-quarterly, TBC) to get users’ opinions and reflect them to GK-2A ground segment g p g gdevelopment projects such as user service system.
