Dear TinCaps Fans,

Thank you, the fans, for making the 2014 season a huge success. We could not have made this season as special as it was without all of you. The 411,028 fans (including 25 sellouts) that attended TinCaps games comprised the highest season attendance in Fort Wayne franchise history.

The 2014 Fort Wayne TinCaps had another successful season on the field. The team qualified for the Midwest League playoffs for the sixth consecutive year and advanced to the Division Finals for the fifth time in six years. The TinCaps continued to feature exciting young players: Fernando Perez set a new franchise record with 95 RBI, 18-year-old Jake Bauers was named a post-season All-Star, and pitcher Kyle Lloyd led the league with 155 strikeouts. The combination of an exciting on-field team and the in-game entertainment that fans have come to love produced another unforgettable season at Parkview Field.

The TinCaps were champions off the field as well. We partnered with over 350 schools and libraries in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio to improve literacy via the TinCaps Reading Program, the largest and oldest such program in our region. Parkview Field hosted over 100 community and charitable organizations and three Scout Overnights (with over 1,350 Boy and Girl Scouts). The TinCaps and our mascot, Johnny, also went out into the community, sponsoring and making appearances at Little Leagues and non-profits.

Parkview Field provides options for groups of 15 up to 2,500. Companies that experi-enced a group outing at Parkview Field in in the past have raved about the ease of the process, the beauty of the venue, the caliber of the entertainment and the overall value. Whatever the event, our staff will work with you to keep the TinCaps at the top of your spring and summer entertainment options. Once again, I thank everyone for coming out during the 2014 season and hope for even more BIG FUN in 2015!

We started using J. Chapman’s two years ago and immedi-ately found it to be an incredible way to thank our client base for their business and meet new clients in the process. And at a price that is far better than throwing money at print/radio or television ads. The TinCaps have taken care of us every step of the way, both in the planning stages of each event and during the events themselves. I can speak for all of us at Collier Financial when I say we look forward to holding our

events at Parkview Field for years to come.Ben Collier • Collier Financial

31 42FIND A GOOD COORDINATORThis step is the most important. Select a coordinator that will stay on top of the fundraising efforts. This will enable you to maximize the amount of money that you will raise.

SELECT A DATE FOR YOUR EVENTIn order to maximize your fundraising efforts it is essential that you select a date that is at least 60 days away. This way you will have 30 days to promote the event and the TinCaps will also have the necessary 30 days to receive, process and deliver ticket orders.

PROMOTE, PROMOTE, PROMOTEThe TinCaps supply your organization with posters, flyers and sign-up sheets. Hand out the materials, start selling, & let everyone know how much this will benefit your group!

SELL YOUR TICKETS & MAKE MONEYWhen your organization has reached the ticket order deadline, each participant will turn in the order form at the bottom of the promotional flyers to the coordinator. The coordinator then purchases the tickets from the TinCaps and you keep the difference! Then simply distribute the tickets to the people that purchased the individual tickets.

17

EASY MONEYYou can make up to $4.00 per ticket sold. If you sell 500 tickets (25 people selling 20 tickets each), your organization will earn $2,000!NO RISK INVOLVEDYour organization will make money, no matter how many tickets you sell! Organizations are not responsible for payment until the ticket order is placed so there are no up-front costs.GAMEDAY FESTIVITIESYour group will be recognized with public address announcements and your group’s name will appear on the videoboard during the game. In special circumstances your group may even be eligible for a ceremonial first pitch!EASY TO ORGANIZEEveryone loves to come to TinCaps games. That makes this fundraiser so much easier to sell! Ticket order forms and posters are supplied by the TinCaps, we process the orders, mail the tickets and anything else that you will need to succeed!

The TinCaps have an easy, risk-free, and fun program that helps you make the most of your fundraising efforts.

The 12-game ticket plans provide tremendous flexibility and a wide range of ticket options. These plans are laid out so that each one will give fans the ability to enjoy the best entertainment at Parkview Field during the 2014 season. • Same seat location for 12 home games • Discounted rate - Get 12 games for the price of 11 • Opportunity to purchase tickets for prime events (including concerts and the Midwest League playoffs) before the general public

12-GAME TICKET PLAN OPTIONS12-GAME TICKET PLAN OPTIONS

Page 22: Group brochure 15

• Each league reserves the quantity of tickets it anticipates selling but does not pay until it finalizes a final ticket count two weeks before the game • Leagues receive tickets to sell to league families and others in the community • TinCaps endeavor to distribute all tickets to leagues prior to the league’s registration date or Opening Day

The advantage of using the TinCaps method of fundraising is that there is no cost up front. Your league pays for the tickets ordered following registration and money is collected from families. (Leagues purchasing 150 tickets can return up to a maximum of 50 tickets at no cost. Please note that this may affect your cost paid per ticket.)

Over 88 Little Leagues have participated in the fundraiser program since the 2000 season. These leagues have raised nearly $640,000 and an average of more than $42,000 per season.

LITTLE LEAGUE FUNDRAISING

Bring a team of little leaguers out to watch a professional baseball team at Parkview Field! • TinCaps game tickets • Vouchers for hot dogs, chips, and soft drinks • Fun Zone vouchers for inflatable games and rock climbing wall • First pitch for one player on the team • Take the field with the TinCaps as part of the Baseball Buddies
