farm businesses by investing $148,160.50 – A young farmer attended the first module of Canadian Total

Excellence in Agricultural Management (CTEAM) and will be reimbursed up to $2,625.00.

• 10 organizations enhanced their organizational capacity by providing $226,000 in funding to develop strategic plans.

• Strategic Planning for the Future of Manitoba Flax Industry is $12,000.

• Pathogen Surveillance Initiative (PSI) Pilot – The Manitoba Canola Growers Association (MCGA) through the PSI

Pilot project aims to provide growers information pertaining to crop pathogen status in Manitoba before visual symptoms occur

• Improving Production for New and Growing Markets – To identify best business practices significant in enhancing the yield

stability of flax in Manitoba , Flax Council of Canada conducted a survey research to determine the key drivers and barriers of the industry .
