Questions?

Question to PonderWould you to like to get your hands on a naturally
occurring substance that acts as an antioxidant, an
immune system booster, and a detoxifier? Something that
can help your body repair damage caused by stress,
pollution, radiation, infection, drugs, poor diet, aging,
injury, trauma, and burns?

GlutathioneWhat is it?
Glutathione is a very interesting, very small molecule that's[produced by the body and] found
in every cell.

GlutathioneIt is a tripeptide made up of :
1. Cysteine
2. Glutamic acid
3. Glycine
What does this mean in laymans terms?
Three amino acids joined by peptide bonds found in everycell in your body.

What YOU NEED to KNOWLow glutathione levels are directly linked to over 200
medical conditions such as:
1.Depression
2.Fibromyalgia
3.Chronic Fatigue
4.Neuromuscular diseases (i.e. Multiple Sclerosis)
5.Skin Disease (i.e. Psoriasis)6.Diseases of Aging (i.e. Inflammatory and Autoimmune)
7.Neurological Disease (i.e. Dementia, Parkinsons)

Glutathione vs. Aging
8/14/2019 GSH Anti-Aging by Deb Crowe_Oct_2009
8/29
Glutathione vs. Aging Increasing Age and Other Factors Reduce the Bodys Production and Utilization of GSH. Research has shown that individuals who have low levels of glutathione are susceptible to chronic illness.
Research shows that GSH levels decline by 8% to 12% per decade, beginning at the age of 20. Levels of
glutathione are further reduced by continual stress upon the immune system such as illness, infection, andenvironmental toxins. 41 new toxins are in our environment daily (According to Health Canada)
As we now know, a lowered immune system can bring about illness and disease. This is a ferocious cycle.
While you need glutathione for a productive immune system, a weakened immune system hampers theproduction of glutathione.
Supplements Containing Glutathione Alone Will NOT Increase The Bodys GSH Levels. It is pointless topurchase supplements that merely contain glutathione, because the digestive system breaks down ingestedglutathione and it will not be absorbed into your system. On the other hand, MaxGXL provides the
proper nutrients needed to promote the body's own ability to manufacture and absorb glutathione.MaxGXL also aids in liver support by destroying environmental poisons helping the liver to function asthe main production site and storehouse for glutathione.

Glutathione Research Researchers are saying the master antioxidant glutathione can do all that and maybemore. But can you believe such sweeping claims? What's the evidence to backthem up? Dr. Robert Keller, MD.
What Is Glutathione? "Glutathione is a very interesting, very small molecule that's [produced by the body
and] found in every cell," says Gustavo Bounous, MD, director of research anddevelopment at Immunotec and a retired professor of surgery at McGill Universityin Montreal, Canada. "It's the [body's] most important antioxidant because it'swithin the cell."
Antioxidants -- the most well known of which are vitamins C and E -- are importantfor good health because they neutralize free radicals, which can build up in cellsand cause damage. Because glutathione exists within the cells, it is in a prime position to neutralize free radicals. It also has potentially widespread health benefits because it can be found in all types of cells, including the cells of theimmune system, whose job is to fight disease.

Free RadicalsFree radicals are individual atoms or groups of atoms with
an odd (unpaired) number of electrons and can be formedwhen oxygen interacts with certain molecules.
Once formed these highly reactive radicals can start a chainreaction, like dominoes. Their chief danger comes fromthe damage they can do when they react with importantcellular components such as DNA, or the cell membrane.
Cells may function poorly or die if this occurs. To preventfree radical damage the body has a defense system ofantioxidants.

AntioxidantsAntioxidants are molecules which can safely interact with free
radicals and terminate the chain reaction before vitalmolecules are damaged.
Although there are several enzyme systems within the body thatscavenge free radicals, the principle micronutrient (vitamin)antioxidants are vitamin E, beta-carotene, and vitamin C.
Additionally, selenium, a trace metal that is required for properfunction of one of the body's antioxidant enzyme systems, is
sometimes included in this category. The body cannot manufacture these micronutrients so they
must be supplied in the diet.

What does Glutathione do? What Does Glutathione Do? The strong antioxidant effect of glutathione helps keep cells running smoothly.
Bounous and another glutathione expert, Jeremy Appleton, ND, say it also helpsthe liver remove chemicals that are foreign to the body, such as drugs andpollutants.
Appleton is chairman of the department ofnutrition at the National College of
Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Ore., and senior science editor for Healthnotes,a database on complementary and alternative medicine available at newspaperstands and health food stores.
Evidence for the important role that glutathione plays in health comes from studies inpeople who are severely ill.
"If you look in a hospital situation at people who have cancer, AIDS, or other veryserious disease, almost invariably they are depleted in glutathione," says Appleton. We do know that glutathione is extremely important for maintaining intracellular
health."

How Should Glutathione Be Taken?Glutathione is not well absorbed into the body when taken
by mouth synthetic or self-production?
One way to get around that is to take a more practical
solution and take the precursors -- that is, the moleculesthe body needs to make glutathione -- rather thanglutathione itself.
The consensus among experts is that doing so will increase
the amount of glutathione in the cells.Max GXL has created the precursor to allow your body to
produce its own glutathione.

InflammationInflammation: A basic way in which the body reacts toinfection, irritation or other injury, the key feature beingredness, warmth, swelling andpain.
Inflammation is now recognized as a type of nonspecificimmune response at the cellular level reaction in each and

Anti-Aging Hormone(DHEA)If you could slow it down would you?DHEA (Dehydroepiandrosterone) is :An endogenous hormone (made in the human body)
Secreted by the adrenal glandDHEA serves as precursor to male and female sex hormones
(androgens and estrogens)DHEA levels in the body begin to decrease after age 30, and are
reported to be low in some people with anorexia, end-stagekidney disease, type 2 diabetes (non-insulin dependentdiabetes), AIDS, adrenal insufficiency, and in the critically ill.DHEA levels may also be depleted by a number of drugs, including insulin, corticosteroids, opiates, and danazol.

Healthy CellsGlutathione is the most abundant anti-oxidant in the body.
Glutathione is special in that it is fat soluble and water soluble, therefore it has anti-oxidant activity
throughout the entire body.
