The New Local Community Network Process is …
All MO LCN Contacts and All LCN Liaisons• who signed IP
• will be invited to join any and all LCNP meetings
• will receive GSMP communications for distribution to members notifications of eBallots and community reviews for
distribution to the MO’s members who– opted into a group and signed IP
• this category of member will also receive notices from the global group
– signed IP and joined a local MO group• this category of user will not receive notices from
global groups only from local groups

MO Functions in the LCNP• Coordination and Communication of standards at the local level
• MO has signed GS1 IP Policy
LCNP MO Contact• Formerly known as MO Key Contacts
on-boards local members to specific GSMP WG’s receives GSMP communications and shares as appropriate
with colleagues and member companies uses the Global Agenda [LCN Tool] Facilitate Members execution of GS1 IP Policy and/or WG

LCNP Local Outreach to Global Engagement
• MO assists the company in joining specific GSMP Work Groups• Uses LCNP Contact to bridge local to
global communities
• Can travel to GSMP meetings
• Can join GSMP Teleconferences
• No language barrier
• MO utilizes some LCN Tools such as the Global Agenda
• Registered as members of GSMP Global Work Groups
• Participate in the Global Work Group for the creation of the WG requirements or standards, Public Reviews and eBallots
• Members of the specific Work Group per each WG Opt-In
LCNP Locally Managed Global Participation
• MO works directly with the company, company does not join any specific GSMP Work Group• Uses LCNP Liaison to bridge global to
local within a local MO Community
• Do not travel to bi-annual GSMP meetings
• Do not join GSMP Teleconferences
• May have language and / or time zone barriers
• MO utilizes the LCN Global Agenda
• Registered as members of LCN for participation in GSMP Public Review and eBallots
• Participate in local groups organized by the MO, utilizing the LCN Global Agenda
• Member of the specific MO LCNP Community Room
