Gualaceo

Gualaceo is a beautiful place to visit, it has a lot of diversity.1

IT IS LOCATEDGualaceo is located in Azuay province, about 35 km from Cuenca.The main attraction of Gualaceo constitute the banks of the Santa Barbara River.Located in a subtropical valley and has a temperature of 17 degrees Celsius.

It has a population of 38,587 (Tirthy eight thousand) inhabitants, is bathed by the rivers Santa Barbara, San Francisco and Guaymincay.

2PLACES TO VISIT

We can visit several places such as:1. The beautiful Banks of the Rio Santa Barbara, has several spaces for walking, prepare barbecues and It has places for sports..2. The traditional center of Gualaceo. Even though small, preserves colonial-style houses.3

We can visit the water park 'Planeta Azul', it is a place to visit with family or friends. It is one of the biggest parks in Latin America.

It has playgrounds, family games and also for adults.4THE TYPICAL FOOD

The typical food of Gualaceo has a rich gastronomy, it is traditional to go to the market on 25 de Junio and in that we can enjoy:

* Pork Hornado ,Fry and Traditional "llapingachos".5
