This coloring book was created by the Seniors and Ambassadors of Guam Girl Scout, Inc. Troop 126 to promote recycling on Guam. We want children to realize that recycling and keeping the environment clean is the best way to protect our beautiful island. Below is a list of places on island to recycle provided by Guam Environmental Protection Agency.
4Hafa Adai! We are Nani the Butterfly and Joe the Chicken. We are here to talk about what you can do to recycle.
5When at home, you can sort your trash after every meal!
6At a fiesta, dont throw away bottles and cans. Have a bag for trash and bags for cans and plastic bottles.
Wheres the recycle bin?
7Dont throw your trash out on the road. Keep a trash bag in your car or take it with you to your next stop.
8Make sure your trash makes it into the trash cans when you are at the park. Instead of throwing away things that recycle, take them with you.
Hi! Im Kin the Crab! Look at all these recyclables left behind.
9After a day at the beach, dont leave your trash behind. Seperate the trash from your recycling when you leave and take it all with you.
Hi, Im Tasi the Turtle! This beach is a mess.
Trash left on the beach can go into the sea and harm the animals! Remember these rules and you can help keep Guam clean!
Is that a bag or a yummy jellyfish?
Find all the words about recycling. They could be from side to side, from top to bot-tom, or diagonal.
Help Nani the Butterfly make her way to the recycling bin!
