We are a leading Victorian commercial maintenance provider. Our purpose is to provide the highest level of service, quality and professionalism without losing the positive characteristics that a small business can offer. We provide a range of maintenance services to various government agencies and the private sector across Victoria. We deliver quality projects no matter the size, time and time again, and this is what sets us apart from our peers. Established in 1999 by two school mates, our enduring strategy has always been to directly employ staff. We now have more than 70 employees and the quality and honesty of our people continues to be our greatest strength.
Our Philosophy is to create a relationship and then build on that relationship through trust, quality and value for money and this is supported by a constantly growing database of return clients. We are committed to the health and safety of our people, the environment and the organisations we serve. We are also dedicated to building links with community and are delighted to be the major sponsor for St Kevin’s College Art Show in 2018.

Deborah Klein is a mid-career Australian artist who has exhibited on a regular basis since 1988. For several years, she has investigated traditional fairy tales, mythology, fables and folklore, which also involved a detailed study of insects, mostly moths and butterflies, from the Asia Pacific region. Klein’s research led to writing some of her own stories, and has since become the dominant driver of her visual art practice. In 2008, Klein’s career was highlighted in a curated survey exhibition, Deborah Klein: Out of the Past 1995-2007, which toured to numerous public galleries in regional Victoria. She also currently features in a major Warrnambool Art Gallery and Art Gallery of Ballarat touring exhibition title, From the Bower: patterns of collecting, alongside Loris Button, Louise Saxton and Carole Wilson. Her work has received numerous awards, including the Grand Prize, Silk Cut Award for Linocut Printmaking, and she is represented in public and university collections throughout Australia. Deborah Klein was born in Melbourne, and grew up in the coastal suburb of St Kilda. Although she retains a base in Melbourne, her art practice has been centred primarily in Ballarat since 2011. Klein gained degree and post-degree qualifications from Chisholm Institute of Technology, Melbourne, Gippsland School of Advanced Education and has a Master of Arts by Research from Monash University, Gippsland. We hope you enjoy Deborah Klein’s solo exhibition, which features as part of the 2017 St Kevin’s Art Show.

David Frazer is one of is one of Australia’s most loved printmakers. His narrative driven works are both lyrical and complex, addressing many of the social quandaries of contemporary culture. His work examines existential issues and personal relationships, referring both to companionship and solitude, often using a male protagonist for dramatic effect.
David’s highly detailed and technically driven work is instantly recognizable, making him a favourite among art collectors. His practice spans more than 30 years and in that time he has had more than 35 solo exhibitions and been included in more than 50 curated group shows.
David’s works are held in four state galleries, along with regional galleries and university collections in every state.

Western ChancesMany families in Melbourne’s West
struggle to meet all the costs associated with school, let alone the extras
needed to really progress the talents of our young people.
The objects of Western Chances are to:
“Provide scholarships to young people in Melbourne’s West who do not have the finances, networks and resources to pursue their education and career
goals and fulfil their potential”.
We have found that the scholarships enrich the self-esteem of the young
people, raise the hopes of the young people and their families and, reward teachers, schools and organisations for
their belief in our young people.
Your support of Western Chances would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT THE ART SHOW
—
The St Kevin’s College Art Show is an annual award exhibition with a long and proud history. Conceived by Mrs Audrey Culliver in 1971, the exhibition celebrates art and fosters community. Now in its 47th year, the art show is a highlight of the St Kevin’s social calendar and it continues to delight its 2,500 strong audience.
In 2017, two prizes are awarded to artists; the major prize of $10,000 for the most outstanding work in any medium and the Brother McCarthy Memorial Award of $3,500 for the best work on paper. Visitors to the exhibition can also become involved by casting a vote in the People’s Choice Award. A small cash prize will be awarded to the winning artist of the People’s Choice.
