HOW TO PREPARE FRANKED MAILA GUIDE FROM NEOPOST
It is a good idea to include a return address on your envelopes in case mail is undeliverable. Neopost will help you ensure that your slogan block complies with the latest Royal Mail specifications.
FRANK ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING
ROSES ARE RED, VIOLETS ARE BLUE
You can frank envelopes and packets of different sizes, shapes and colours, by using franking labels so they will still have a clear and legible mark.
Mail items can be franked in advance; simply forward the date on the franking machine and set it to the next day.
DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU’RE GOING TO?
Frank marks must be printed in red unless you are using Business Mail Advanced products - then it’s blue. They should always be clear and in the top right-hand corner of your item.
WHY BOTHER?
OOPSY! MISSED THE LAST COLLECTION OR YAY!! SUPER ORGANISED!
Franked mail will get where it’s going faster and with less handling if prepared correctly. Having a Royal Mail Franking Licence means you need to be aware of and comply with the terms and follow the rules on preparation of your mail.
SPECIAL REMINDERMake sure you keep Special Delivery™ and International Signed For™ mail separate and hand it to your Collection Driver to ensure you get the service you have paid for.
