What’s changing in the reports and booklets that are being refreshed?

I have inventory of a report that will be replaced by a new version. Will my inventory automatically be replaced by the new version?

The reports and booklets that are being refreshed feature a completely new visual design and layout that make them more contemporary, accessible, engaging, and relevant for the user. Content improvements are also being made to update the language describing MBTI type theory for increased comprehension and usability. The refreshed products will include new and/or enhanced graphics to reinforce key concepts.

In addition to the aforementioned improvements, the booklets being refreshed, available in either print or PDF format, will each offer complimentary access to an all-new companion website. These dynamic, interactive sites are specifically designed to help users continue their exploration of the MBTI tool and reinforce their learning.

Yes. If you have the older version of a report in your inventory and you deploy the report on or after the new version’s release date, your inventory will automatically be replaced by the new version free of charge. This policy applies to both SkillsOne and Elevate customers.

If you previously purchased the older version of a report and have already deployed it to a client, you will be able to print the new version of that client’s report for free on or after the report’s release date. This policy applies to both SkillsOne and Elevate customers.

Why are the reports and booklets being refreshed?Q2CPP is committed to continually improving its products and services based on customer feedback. In this case, we acted on feedback from practitioners seeking to deliver an enhanced training experience. We are confident that the design and content enhancements we are introducing in our refreshed products will make it easier for individuals to understand type concepts and extend their learning after training.

You can return your inventory to CPP following the standard 60-day return policy. Once we receive your returned inventory, we will issue credit that you can then use to purchase the new version.*

*Note that if you purchased a discounted pack of booklets, you must return the entire pack. For example, if you bought a discounted pack of 10 booklets, you’ll need to return all 10 booklets together to receive credit.

The difference between what you paid for the old version and the cost of the new version

Have inventory of an older version of a booklet purchased more than 60 days ago (from the invoice date) and before the new version has become available…

You will not be able to return your inventory because the return date falls outside of our standard 60-day return policy.

I don’t want the new version of a product that is being refreshed. Can I continue to purchase the older version?

No. In order to ensure a consistent, superior experience for our customers, the old version of a report or other product will no longer be available for purchase once it has been replaced by a new version.

PRODUCT QUESTIONS

Q1 Is CPP planning to update more MBTI products in the near future?

CPP is committed to continually improving its products and services. As we explore ways to further enhance our offerings, we may decide to refresh additional products. We will do our best to keep you informed of new developments.

Will the refreshed products be available in languages other than North American English?

At this time we are not planning to translate our refreshed MBTI products into additional languages. However, based on customer use and feedback, we may choose to introduce other language versions in the future. Stay tuned for new information!

The companion websites complement the booklets with interactive and animated content for increased engagement and comprehension.

Can I access the companion websites on my tablet or smartphone?

Yes, absolutely. In fact, the websites are optimized for mobile devices to encourage learning on the go!

Where do I get the access code to use for the companion websites?

An individual access code is included with each Introduction to Myers-Briggs® Type and Communication or Introduction to Myers-Briggs® Type in Organizations booklet purchased.

If you purchased the booklet in print format, you will find the access code on the inside of the front cover. If you purchased the booklet in PDF format, you will find the access code in the footer at the bottom of the second page. Note that each access code is unique and can be registered only once.

Are there expiration dates for the access code? For example, will the code work two years from now?

There is no expiration date associated with the access code, but CPP may make business decisions in the future that will affect the availability of the companion website. You can find complete terms of use on MBTItype.com.

Should you encounter issues with an access code, simply complete the help form on MBTItype.com and a CPP Customer Relations specialist will contact you to provide assistance.

Can I purchase access codes separately?

No. Access codes for the companion websites will not be available for sale. This is to prevent a disjointed and potentially confusing user experience that would result from pairing the old version of a booklet with its new companion website, which features differences in content layout and type language.

For most customers, there should be no need to purchase access codes separately since the new version of the booklet (both electronic and print formats) will include an access code free of charge.

Yes. The MBTI® Communication Style Report and the MBTI® Personal Impact Report are available in both reported and verified type versions.

I already have access to the companion website for the Introduction to Myers-Briggs® Type booklet. Will I also be able to access the companion website for either Introduction to Myers-Briggs® Type and Communication or Introduction to Myers-Briggs® Type in Organizations?

No. You will need a separate code to access the companion website for a different booklet in the Introduction to Myers-Briggs® Type series. You can obtain an access code by purchasing the corresponding booklet in either print or PDF format.
