My father this, I ask of thee,

Knowing that thou, will grant my plea,

For this and only this I pray.

Strength for today just for today,

Strength for the present hour and need,

This given then I am blest indeed.

For everyday as it comes will bring

Sufficient strength for everything

Strength for each trial and each task.

What more my father should I ask?

Just, as I need it day by day,

Strength for my weakness this I pray.

O God, this morning I have come into the quietness

and stillness of your presence to begin the day so that out of

this moment, I may take with me a quiet serenity which will

last me through the rough and tumble of this day's life.

I have come to find wisdom,

So that today I may not make any foolish mistakes.

I have come to find peace,

So that nothing may worry or upset me all through today.

I have come to find love.

So that all through to day nothing may make me

bitter or unforgiving or unkind.

I have come to begin the day with you, to continue

It with you, and to end it with you, so that

It will be day which will have in it nothing to regret.

A MORNING PRAYER

We thank you God for, food we eat

We thank you God for, water we drink,

Thank you God for everything you bestow on us.

PRAYER AT LUNCH

We thank you, O God

For, all the blessing

You have bestowed on us this day

May we be ever grateful to you.

For this beautiful day and time.

PRAYER AFTER CLASS

I need you always Lord, I need you all the time,

I need to hear your words, That give me peace sublime.

In solitude I see the assurance of love.

When I am weak and down, you help me rise above.

You understand my heart, a cup of joy and pain,

You do not stay apart, I need your gracious strain.

I need you always Lord, I need you all the time,

I need to hear your words, that give me peace sublime.

PRAYER

Will my heart fly away,

Without being thou my lord,

Day and night, Day and night.

I look for thou my lord.

Let there be light in my heart,

Let there be light in the world,

Day and night, Day and night.

I look for thou my lord.

Let there be joy in my heart.

Day and night, Day and night.

I look for thou my lord.

Let there be love in my heart.

Let there be love in the world.

Day and night, Day and night.

I look for thou my lord.

India is my country. All Indians are my brothers and sisters.

I love my country, and I am proud of its rich and varied heritage.

I shall always strive to be worthy of it.

I shall give my parents, teachers and all elders respect and treat everyone with courtesy.

To my country and my people. I pledge my devotion in their well being and prosperity alone lies my happiness.

NATIONAL PLEDGE

Peace is flowing like a river,

Let is flow through you and me

Spreading to the desert

Setting all the captive free

Joy is flowing like a river

Let is flow through you and me

Spreading to the desert

Setting all the captive free

Love is flowing like a river

Let is flow ........................

SCHOOL PRAYER

Praise him, Praise him

Praise him in the morning

Praise him in the noon time

Praise him when sun goes down

Serve him, Serve him

Serve him in the morning

Serve him in the noon time

Serve him when sun goes down

Thank him, thank him .......................

PRAYER

• Give me oil in my lamp keep me burning• Give me oil in my lamp I pray• Give me oil in my lamp keep me burning• Keep me burning till the break of day• Come on and sing Hosanna, sing Hosanna• Sing Hosanna to the king of kings• Sing Hosanna, sing Hosanna• Singh Hosanna to the kings of king

GIVE ME OIL IN MY LAMP

Ref: Let they love play my voice and rest on my silence1 Let it pass through my heart into all my movements.2. Let they love like stars shine in the darkness of my sleep and

dawn in my awaking.3 Let it burn in the flame of my desires and flow in all currents of

my own love.4 Let me carry thou love in my life as a harp does its music and

give it back to the at last with my life.

LET THE LOVE PLAY UPON MY VOICE

1 I have heard of a land on a faraway strand is a beautiful home of the soal There's my Master on laugh There we never shall die it's a land where, we never grow old. CH: Never grow old never grow old. In a land where we never grow old2 When our work here is alone And the light crown is won And our troubles and trials are over All our sorrows will end And our voices will blind With the loved one who have gone on before.

NEVER GROW OLD

CHORUS :

A song on my lips, a song in my heart

I go my merry way

There's sun in my heart

Lights up my step from day to day.

1 Every road through hills and valleys

Leads to heaven by and by

And the wind that sweeps the alleys points a finger to the sky.

2 Many friends are one the highway

And they're waiting for a smile walk along my friend on my way

Holding hands a little while

There are times of storm and sorrow when the goal drifts out of sight

But the road leads on tomorrow.

I GO MY MERRY WAY

1 All over the word the spirit is moving

All over the world as the prophet said it would be.

All over the world there's mighty revelation of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.

2 Deep down in my heart the spirit is moving,

Deep down in my heart, as the prophet said it would be.

Deep down in my heart, there's a mighty revelation of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.
