NOTE:

Specifications are affected by the

condition of the vehicle and how it is

equipped, as well as the nature and

condition of the operating area. If these

specifications are critical, the proposed

application should be discussed with your

dealer.

¶ Bottom of forks

◆ Stacking aisle width (line 4.33)

is based on the V.D.I. standard

calculation as shown on front page

illustration. The British Industrial

Truck Association recommends the

addition of 100 mm to the total

clearance (dimension a) for extra

operating margin at the rear of

truck.

† Gradeability figures (lines 5.7, 5.8)

are provided for comparison of

tractive performance, but are not

intended to endorse the operation

of vehicle on the stated inclines.

Follow instructions in the operating

manual regarding operation on

inclines.

We have changed the VDI diagram as requested, but have also changed the forward tilt to match the description in line 4.1. The 'a' has changed to a greek font. Please see diagram and advise.

HighliftsThe rated capacities shown above are for trucks equipped with standard or sideshift carriage, and nominal lengthforks (see below). Masts above the maximum fork height shown here are classified as high lift, and dependingon the tyre/tread configuration may require reduced capacity, restricted back tilt or wide tread.

WarningCare must be exercised when handling elevated loads. When the carriage and/or load is elevated, truckstability is reduced. It is important that mast tilt in either direction be kept to a minimum when loads are elevated.Operators must be trained and adhere to the instructions contained in the Operating Manual.

High lift masts require Hyster’s approval based on specific application information. This information should besupplied on Hyster form 857025-25, and will be used to determine rated capacities to be included on a specificnameplate. The completed nameplate must be installed on the truck before it is put to use.

Preliminary Information

H8.00-12.00XMH13.00XM-16.00XM-6

Counterbalance Forklift 8 000 to 16 000 kg @ 600 mmUltimate operator comfortDrivers enjoy the utmost comfort when operating this truck. The suspension seat, armrest and steering columnare fully adjustable to suit any desired position. In order to isolate the driver from shock and vibration, the spacious rubber floored operator compartment is positioned on four large rubber anti-vibration mounts.Noise levels are also reduced, achieving 75dBa Leq with minimum acoustic treatment.

Unrivalled visibilityThe revolutionary design of the operator's compartment provides excellent all round vision. There is no dashat the front of the cab, and therefore visibility through the windscreen is unobstructed. Upward vision is alsofree from obstruction, due to a clever overhead guard design. Each section of glass on the cab is one pieceglass, and therefore there is no distortion. Even if the weather is bad, the front, rear and top wipers anddemisters aid visibility.

Maximum control, minimum effortA multi-function display panel includes error code facility, and a warning light in front of the driver will letthem know when to look at the panel.

The low effort controls are attached to an adjustable seat-mounted armrest. Electro-proportional hydrauliccontrol valves ensure smooth and effortless use of the joystick/lever controls. Heating comes as standard, but options are also available for air conditioning within the cab.

Advanced technologyThe advanced thinking behind this truck is not only apparent in the cab design but in all other areas of thetruck:

● New O-Ring Seal type fittings have been used to eliminate hydraulic leaks

● The 3-Speed powershift transmission comes with optional new fully electronic autoshift gear change

● Dry air operated brakes and a wet disc brake axle as an option

● Load sense powersteering

● Power train protection system (warning lights, buzzers and shut down)

Ease of serviceabilityAccess to major components is made easy due to the hydraulically powered side tilting cab. All transmissionchecks are conveniently situated for quick maintenance. The gull wing hood concept provides unparalleledaccess to the engine for ease of servicing and therefore reduced downtime.
