Finding better ways for more than 80 years.Hfele has been managed by ambitious entrepreneurs from the verybeginning. Each one of these personalities has successfully implementedvisions and made a significant contribution to the development of the groupof companies. Hfele was delivering hardware abroad and procuringhardware from other countries as long ago as the 1960s. Hfele has hada presence in the USA since 1973, Australia since 1982 and Asia since1988. One particular milestone was the development of the globallysuccessful Minifix component. The patent for this new furniture connectorwas granted in 1983. Hfele has had an electronic information andordering system since 1995, and orders can now be placed in the 15 mostimportant markets using online catalogues. Hfele added the Dialockelectronic locking system to its range of hardware for projects in 1997, andhas been supplying complete hardware solutions for furnishing areas suchas kitchens, storage rooms and retirement homes since 2005.

To go forward and find better ways you sometimes need to lookback. In 1986 we introduced a mobile showroom in the form of aNissan Civilian Coaster, fitted with the latest hardware technologyand visiting customers in some of the remotest places in Australia.
The huge success we enjoyed back then is humbled by our 2006version, the Hfele Finding Better Ways Volvo B7R Coach. Standing4 meters high and 12.5 meters long, weighing in at 15 tonne, thissleek unit in black duco with a touch of chrome is a real headturner, but it's what's inside that really excites.

Distribution logistics is another importantpart of our customer service. Our networkof four warehouses located in Victoria,New South Wales, Queensland andWestern Australia, stock and manage ourcomprehensive range of hardware acrossthe entire country. Carrying over 14,000stock lines, an average day will see over825 orders picked from approximately2,200 lines. Services matched then tocustomer requirements such as: next daydelivery, delivery to multiple locations,splitting orders into units.
Transportation methods used are specificto the volume and dimensions of thedelivery. Factors such as: urgency,distance and cost are all taken into consid-eration to ensure that the delivery reachesits destination reliably and efficiently.
