of economic development in the Yangtze Delta

The Park is located in the center of the Yangtze River Delta metropolitan cluster,

the midpoint of Shanghai Economic Circle, Hangzhou Economic Circle and

Rim-Taihu Economic Circle. From a birds eye view, a geographical pattern of

3 horizontal and 3 vertical roads is formed, including, the Shanghai-Hangzhou

Expressway, Shanghai-Jiaxing-Huzhou Expressway, Hangzhou-Pudong

Expressway, Zhapu-Jiaxing-Suzhou Expressway, Hangzhou Bay Cross-seaBridge and Shaoxing-Jiaxing Cross-river Channel.

located at the favorable geographical location equidistant from Shanghai

Hangzhou, Suzhou, and Ningbo, Haiyan offers the advantage of being able to

satisfy the human resources demand and retain a stable workforce.

Zhejiangs nuclear power industry has been developing for nearly 20 years. There are 3 nuclear

power plants currently operating, consisting of 5 sets with a total installed capacity of 3.1 million

kW. This accounts for about 6% of the total installed electric power capacity in Zhejiang province.In 2010, China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) launched its nuclear power base - China

Nuclear Power City in Haiyan, Zhejiang. At the same time, Zhejiang Government signed a strategic

energy cooperation agreement with China Guangdong Nuclear Power Corporation (CGNPC).

Since Chinas first self-designed nuclear

power plant, Qinshan nuclear power plant

the Chinese nuclear power industry today.

Zone and Haiyan government, many retired

nuclear experts assist and participate in

training and give lectures regularly in HaiyanNuclear Power Industrial Park.

Nuclear power development in China has begun a new and fast growth phase. The

nuclear power capacity that is either already in operation, in early development, or

approved for construction, is in excess of 60 million kW.
