About the service
Awqaf developed the Electronic Hajj Registration System after evaluating the difficulties, obstacles and positive aspects of the previous Hajj seasons. The system is aimed at creating a database of individuals wishing to perform Hajj rites as well as the data of participating Hajj contractors within the timeline defined by Awqaf. It also seeks to process all administrative, financial and medical procedures electronically in a quick and innovative manner, thus achieving a quantum leap in this arena. Furthermore, the initiative is aimed at offering all the services relating to this sector online and in accordance with the relevant rules and regulations in effect. This services goes through the following stages: 1. Registration in the electronic registration page (at accredited registration centres/ or through other means announced by Awqaf). 2. Sorting out and issuing work permit. 3. Hajj campaigns enter their programmes, services and prices in the system. 4. Pilgrims choose their preferred Hajj contractor through the Awqaf’s online service, and then complete administrative and financial procedures. 5. Medical check-up at the clinics accredited by health authorities in the UAE. 6. Transfer of pilgrims’ data to “Masar” electronic system, payment of fees, completion of required procedures and issuing Hajj permits

Service Process
1. Registration done using the Emirates ID card e-reader.
Applicant should personally submit copy of passport with
unified number page at one of the authorised centres.

• Tamm service centres in Western region.
• Tas’heel service centres affiliated with the Ministry of Human
Resource and Emiratisation.
• Branches and offices of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable
Activities Department in Dubai.
• Branches and offices of Sharjah Islamic Affairs Department.
• Offices of the accredited Hajj and Umrah contractors.
2. An SMS will be sent to applicant’s registered mobile number
including reference number to follow up the status of
application.

Once the applicant has received SMS with approval, he/she will
be directed to select the preferred Hajj campaign.

At this stage, applications will sorted out based on several criteria
in order to ensure that all eligible applicants are approved. Status
of the application will be notified to applicants after the end of
registration period.

6. You will be directed to the Hajj Registration System. Click on

1. Enter your reference number or Emirates ID number and the
mobile number used for registration.
2. Click on Continue.
3. You will receive SMS with verification code that you will
need to enter in the next screen to continue.

4. Select your preferred campaign by clicking on the picture. You
will then be directed to the page that includes all other details.

5. Read all details related to the programme, then submit the
application to the contractor.

6. Select number of rooms and additional services, then submit the
application to the contractor.

7. Applicant will receive SMS that selection of the contractor
has been completed successfully.
8. Applicant can change the contractor within 72 hours.
However, once application is approved by the contractor,
applicant will not be able to change it.

1. Once the application is approved by the Hajj contractor,
applicant should sign the contract and pay the fees.
2. Once done, the contractor will issue the pilgrim card and hand
it over to the pilgrim before leaving to perform Hajj rites.
1. Pilgrim must carry out medical test and take necessary
vaccines at one of the authorised medical centres. Emirates
ID or reference number is required to do so. In case the
applicant failed to do the medical test, he/she will receive
SMS reminder to do so.
2. Once done, the medical report will be uploaded to the Hajj
registration system.
