SAFETY NOTE

Please read the user guide of Haliza manual book carefully before operating the device. This book provides some notes on how to operate Haliza device safely.

Haliza does not easily explode.

Make sure the cable never drop or put near any rotating shaft and hot surface.

Make sure the bolt for pressure sensor were installed and fastened properly.

Use PPE for safety ( Personal Protective Equipment ).

Communicate with Maintenance or Operation crew before and after performing data collection.

Think safety and pray before taking data collection.

Personal Protective Equipment

Use standard PPE when on site data collection is in progress. The following PPE symbols are used in this manual:

1 INTRODUCTION

1.1 ABOUT THIS MANUAL

This handbook explains how to install and setup Haliza® Series 10

th. Unless otherwise noted, the information contained in this

manual includes:

1.2 GENERAL INFORMATION

Haliza Machinery Analyzer is a portable machinery analyzer to collect data quickly and easily, to perform condition monitoring of rotating and reciprocating equipment, to do on-site analysis of the machine condition, and as data collector then export the data to SofHaliza, an advance software analysis and data storage for Haliza.

Haliza Machinery Analyzer uses three main sensors, they are vibration transducer, pressure transducer, and speed sensor (type: magnetic pick up) as tachometer.

Panduan Haliza Machinery Analyzer User Manual is written for Vibration Analysts, Reliability Data Collection Technicians, and Reliability Engineers who monitor rotating and reciprocating machines condition. reciprocating.

The User Manual describes how to set up the analyzer, take vibration, pressure, and speed data based on the route sent by SofHaliza. Any differences in information will be noted.

1.5 PRECAUTION AND GENERAL MAINTENANCE

If any maintenance, repair, or replacement of components not listed below must be performed and informed to Daun Biru Engineering. Any damage to the product caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, carelessness or modifications performed by anyone other than Daun Biru Engineering may void the warranty.

Following the precautions listed below, you can perform common maintenance procedures on the Haliza Machinery Analyzer and its accessories.

Warning

An electrostatic discharge is possible when you clean up the Haliza analyzer. When cleaning the outside, do not use any abrasive or corrosive chemicals or materials. Kewaspadaan To prevent permanent damage to the display screen of Haliza,

never use sharp objects or excessive pressure with your fingers.

Use only original or approved charger by Daun Biru Engineering for use with the Haliza. Using any chargers other than the one approved by Daun Biru Engineering's could not only void the warranty, but will also most likely damage the Haliza.

It is recommended that Haliza not be left unattended while charging is in progress.

Make sure mounting position of the sensor cable to Haliza connector must be in accordance with the "red mark".

Tidy up placement of marker cable so it will not interfere or disrupt other work activity.

Mencegah Kerusakan To prevent damage to the analyzer, sensor and cable:

Use “Shutdown” menu to power off Haliza Analyzer.

Do not connect signal larger than 24 Volts into input Channel 1 and 2 of Haliza.

Do not connect signal larger than 12 Volts into Pick Up or Tachometer input channels of Haliza.

Pressure Transducer can only be used to measure for maximum 5 minutes after kiene valve is opened.

Do not attach continuously an Accelerometer sensor onto hot surface (> 110 OC) for more than 5 minutes.

Do not use Timing Light more than 5 seconds for equipment speed above 3000 rpm.

Do not pull the cord when removing Accelerometer sensor after data acquisition.

2 HALIZA INTRODUCTION

2.1 HALIZA OVERVIEW

Haliza is machinery analyzer made in Indonesia and has been used for several industries in Indonesia. Haliza 10 is the latest model of Haliza machinery analyzer by Daun Biru Engineering as the flag ship product, which have been developed last few years. Basic step to take data and analyze performance and condition of reciprocating (gas engine, diesel engine, gas compressor) and rotating (pump, gas turbine, steam turbine, turbine compressor, blower) engines using Haliza is illustrated in the next flow diagram:

Send route to Haliza is a sequence of data acquisition created based on engine information (number of cylinder, firing order, etc) to do data collection and analysis directly on site (real time).

Download Data Dump or move collected data from Haliza to the computer (SofHaliza) for database, data processing, and analysis.

Data Collection Haliza 10 is a portable machinery analyzer, equipped with Li-ion battery as power supply that can operate for 7 hours continuously, so it can be used to perform real time data collection and analysis directly in the field.

2.5 BASIC DATA ACQUISITION PROCEDURE

Preparation in SofHaliza (Database) 1. Collect engine information from its manual book. 2. Key in the engine information to Sofhaliza & create route. 3. Check battery voltage level, see chapter “5.1.2 Haliza Battery

Charging Procedure”

Catatan

Do not use Haliza analyzer to collect data when the battery voltage is < 10 Volts. It is to avoid discharged or exhausted battery in the middle of data collection .

4. Send routes to Haliza Analyzer. 5. Haliza Analyzer is ready to collect data.

Preparation in the Field 1. Use standard PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). 2. Inform or communicate to Operator or Maintenance Crew

before we perform the job. 3. Prepare all tools to collect data. 4. Prepare Top Dead Center (TDC) marking position on the

flywheel or shaft object measurement when the unit is stopped (see chapter “5.2.1 Engine Top Dead Center”).

5. Attach the speed sensor using magnetic stand, make sure the signal is detected. It will be indicated by blinking LED on Haliza (see chapter “5.2.2 Install RPM Sensor Marker “).

Data Collection 1. Check speed sensor and TDC marking position. 2. Communicate to Operator or Maintenance Crew to start up the

engine, wait until the engine operates at optimum and steady load.

3. Attach marker cable; blinking red LED on Haliza show that the marker unit is connected to Haliza.

4. Check the TDC position using a timing light. Haliza equipped with TDC correction menu. Perform correction speed sensor if the RPM is not detected (see chapter “5.2.3 Check Correction Angle“)

5. Before taking pressure measurement, flush the combustion chamber by opening kiene valve and release the pressure to the atmosphere.

6. Take pressure data of each cylinder according to the sent route or by engine cylinder order (see chapter “5.2.4 Combustion Pressure Measurement” )

7. Next, take vibration data of each cylinder (see chapter “5.2.6 Vibration Data Recording “).

temperature, running hours, load, speed. etc) for additional data analysis.

2. Dump data process from Haliza to SofHaliza in computer.See chapter “4.8 SofHaliza Send Data” and “4.9 SofHaliza Download Data ”.

Analysis 1. The processed data consists of pressure, vibration, speed

and other operating conditions. This analysis will diagnose the condition and performance of the machine.

2. Create recommendations based on the analysis. 3. Execute recommendations if needed. 4. After performing repair job based on the recommendations,

recollect the data to compare the results before and after repair.

3.1 HALIZA MACHINERY ANALYZER

3.1.1 MAIN DEVICE OF HALIZA MACHINERY ANALYZER

Perangkat yang terhubung secara langsung ke mesin disebut dengan Haliza. Pengambil data kondisi kesehatan mesin dalam bentuk digital ini dibantu oleh sensor yang akan menerjemahkan keadaan performa / kesehatan mesin. Melalui sinyal yang terbaca dari sensor yang menempel pada mesin, Haliza akan menerjemahkan keadaan mesin untuk dianalisa dalam bentuk grafik yang kemudian dianalisa untuk diterjemahkan menjadi kondisi kesehatan mesin.

Sensor yang menempel pada mesin berfungsi sebagai penerima kondisi mesin yang kemudian dikirimkan dalam bentuk data / sinyal digital yang terbentuk dari performa mesin yang sedang bekerja. Beberapa parameter penampakan kondisi mesin tersebut antara lain:

3.1.2 LAPTOP SOFHALIZA

The SofHaliza computer serves to display and analyze data measurement with specifications that have been described on Chapter 4.2.

3.2 MAIN SENSOR HALIZA

3.2.1 PRESSURE SENSOR

Pressure Sensor or Pressure transducer, used to collect data on combustion engine or internal compressor pressure. Pressure data is converted into a voltage signal.

3.2.2 VIBRATION SENSOR

Vibration sensor is used to take vibration data. Vibration is converted into a voltage signal that will be translated by Haliza as result of data vibration measurement. Type of the sensor is multipurpose accelerometer, with range frequency 0.5 Hz to 15 kHz, and utilize magnetic base to attach the sensor into measured object.

Magnetic pick-up has detection range around 2 – 5 mm. Magnetic pick-up generates pulses when the magnetic field changes around pick-up. To create magnetic field changes, please use marker pick up made from metal (like bolt or thumbtack) glued on rubber attached to a shaft or rotor.

To check position of Top Dead Center (TDC), the power is supplied by Haliza analyzer, timing light only works on mode “Other Function” → "Pickup Correction Angle" and “Timing Light Test”.

4.1 OVERVIEW

SofHaliza is software to analyze engine where the data sources can be download from Haliza Machinery Analyzer. The Software database application useful as data analyzing and recording. Data recorded as hierarcy engine equipment base on company structure. yang merupakan aplikasi database untuk melakukan penyimpanan dan analisis data. Data disimpan sesuai dengan hirarki peralatan (mesin) yang ada dalam struktur perusahaan.

SofHaliza 10.3 Software, completes function of Haliza 10 Machinery Analyzer, build to efficiently decide / determine mechanical condition and engine performance on industry, especially diesel engine, gas engine, dual fuel, bifuel), reciprocating compressor and rotating machinery. dibuat untuk mempermudah menentukan / meramalkan kondisi mekanis dan juga prestasi dan permesinan di industri, terutama Mesin (diesel, gas engine, dual fuel, bi fuel), kompresor reciprocating dan juga rotating machinery.

SofHaliza 10.3 consist of 2 main part, which is data management and data analysis. Data management to be handled by an database. About database will be explains later on the next chapter. terdiri dari 2 bagian utama, yaitu manajemen data dan analisis. Manajemen data ditangani oleh sebuah database. Application Installation By access on Linux console terminal, following SofHaliza Installation steps: 1. Login user installation then access the SofHaliza installer to

ensure the downloaded file are normal and correct size.

4.4 INSTALLATION AND SETTING COMMUNICATION USB

For data collection process using Haliza, you must send the route created in SofHaliza that consists of measurement points. After on site data collection is completed, you must transfer the data from Haliza device to PC SofHaliza.

Communication between the device and PC is using serial port. Haliza Analyzer is equipped with USB to serial adapter, and communication cable.

4.4.2 LINUX OPERATING SYSTEM

Instalation Supporting Application Pasangkan adapter kabel USB2serial ke terminal USB2.0 komputer Sistem Operasi Linux. Pastikan kondisi kabel USB2serial baik, kemudian deteksi kehadiran USB tersebut melalui command line (CL) terminal:

$ ls /dev/ |grep -i usb

ttyUSB0

Jika belum terbaca, maka CL diatas tidak ada output ttyUSB, artinya Komputer SofHaliza belum menerima hardware USB tersebut. Sebaliknya, jika output CL diatas ada USB, maka Anda telah berhasil memulai komunikasi SofHaliza ke Haliza.

Untuk membuat database baru pastikan folder/directory tempat file database/dbb tersebut dalam kondisi writeable (biasanya terletak dalam directory HOME login linux) sehingga database/file berekstensi dbb dapat dibuat. Arahkan pointer ke “Berkas” pada menu window SofHaliza,

seperti Picture 30 dibawah, selanjutnya ikuti proses create database operasi sesuai petunjuk yang muncul.

Database bisa diambil dari existing file dbb pada pengukuran sebelumnya atau saat pengiriman rute pengukuran aset. Seperti cara pembuatan database baru diatas, namun pilih “Buka Database”. Ikuti prosedur buka database yang muncul pada

SofHaliza, sehingga nama database yang dipakai akan tertulis pada head window yang kedua, sebagaimana Picture 31 menggunakan database /home/usersofhaliza/sofhaliza.dbb Untuk membaca data hasil pengukuran menggunakan SofHaliza, kita wajib mempunyai data file extention DBB yang dipakai saat pertama kali create dan kirim data RUTE / parameter mesin ke Haliza Machinery Analyzer menggunakan kabel USB2serial. Sehingga mapping database pengukuran mampu menampung data pengukuran sesuai parameter mesin yang diharapkan.

4.5.1 INTRODUCTION TO DATABASE SOFHALIZA

Sebagaimana disampaikan sebelumnya bahwa data SofHaliza dirancang sedemikian rupa sehingga struktur atau hirarki perusahaan dapat diikuti dan diterapkan pada SofHaliza. Pada Picture 31 diatas, ditampilkan database Hirarki SofHaliza.

Dimulai dari yang paling atas, maka struktur perusahaan adalah nama perusahaan, kemudian departemen dan selanjutnya obyek mesin. Ini bukan keharusan, dapat pula diganti dengan nama lokasi, kota dll. Sebelum kita dapat membuat data SofHaliza, perlu disiapkan terlebih dahulu hirarki yang ingin dipakai.

Contoh:

Pada Picture 31 Hirarki SofHaliza menunjukkan bahwa: Daun Biru Engineering akan ditaruh di hirarki paling atas

karena sebagai pemilik obyek.

Pembangkit Cimanggis akan ditaruh di departemen, karena memang ini adalah salah satu bagian dari departemen utility di Daun Biru Engineering.

Motor Cooling Pump akan ditaruh di obyek mesin. “Motor Cooling Pump” mungkin ada beberapa buah pada bagian Equipment, sehingga ditambahkan nomer #1 pada bagian belakangnya.

4.5.2 DATA ROUTE INTRODUCTION

Haliza Haliza Analyzer collects data based on route. Route lets you collect data using your analyzer. A route is a list of equipment and measurement points that you select from an area in the SofHaliza. The route file lets you save collected measurements of the equipment. Arrange the list of equipment and measurement points to provide an efficient path (route) for you to collect data. You can simultaneously send one or more routes from SofHaliza to Haliza analyzer.

Haliza Machinery Analyzer

Haliza Haliza Machinery Analyzer uses three main sensors, they are pressure transducer, vibration transducer and speed sensor as tachometer. The route will save that three sensor type. Below picture will show main menu of Haliza analyzer. To collect data, the sent route from SofHaliza to Haliza will be saved in “Acquire Route Data”.

Following how create/add new asset Recip Engine, as continue Chapter 4.6.4.

Fill the name of machine / engine in the dialog box

On the category, select “Recip Engine (Diesel/Gas)” then a

Then complete the other data until the description.

If necessary, rename the machine to avoid the same machine name in one department.

If you agree with all the fields in this dialog box, click "OK". After the machine is created, then check the properties of the machine as captured on Picture 51 to display the detailed properties of the newly created machine asset information, so it will appear as Picture 53.

4.8 SOFHALIZA SEND DATA TO HALIZA

Warning

Data transfer must be done in a non Hazardous Location.

1. Route should be made according to combustion sequences on each cylinder head. When it is done, then route ready to be sent from SofHaliza to Haliza, here the step:

From SofHaliza main window, chose menu “Komunikasi”.

Select “Load / Kirim Rute”

Then windows dialog will appear as capture below. Double click one of route from “Nama Rute” column or

click “Buka Rute”.

2. Open the route you wish to sent by click “Buka Rute”, then

route ready to be sent:

Click “Kirim” will sent route to Haliza, as captured dialog

below.

Ensure the data you have insert are correct, then click “OK” to finish the windows dialog.

4.9 SOFHALIZA DOWNLOAD DATA HALIZA

1. After chapter 4.4 completely finish with no cases, continue to next step SofHaliza download Haliza data. Starting with connecting Haliza to SofHaliza communication cable, then pointing the Haliza cursor into inside “Communication” menu

as captured on Picture 71. Follow instruction below on SofHaliza :

SofHaliza main window, click main menu “Komunikasi”.

Pressure Curve Parade

1. The vibration graph that occurs at each rotation angle of combustion in the cylindrical chamber is then displayed in a graph called the Pressure Graphic Parade. Here's how to display a pressure graph parade:

On the hierarchy pane of Sofhaliza, select the machine asset that already contains the data measurement.

In the table that appears, left click on the "Waktu" column

to display the measurement data already downloaded from the Haliza

4.10.4 OPERATIONAL DATA

Before performing data processing steps that need to be done is ensure that engine rotation data (RPM) already exists. If it does not exist (not loaded with the analyzer Haliza 10) then it needs to be entered manually from SofHaliza. Steps that need to be done to enter the data RPM engine is as follows:

Select one of aset / unit object measurement.

Left click twice on one row data measurement, such as “Waktu” column.

Right click to activate menu “Data Process (Log Sheet)”

After that will appear Log Sheet Data Menu on the date of measurement that has been selected (Picture 67). Select “Utama” tab of the menu, then fill “RPM” column according to the measured engine rotation. Click “Simpan” button to save and

finish the process. After fill the RPM speed, then the processing can be start. The process is the steps that perform mathematical calculations on certain parameters required for the analysis phase.

The first step to perform a “Proses” data is select the date

measurement you wish to process the data. Then right click the date, appears option menu as seen captured on Picture 69, chose “Proses Olah Data”. The process log will appear shortly after “Proses” is clicked.

This step needs to be done each time after the measurement data is transferred to SofHaliza. This “Proses” step should also

be repeat after the correction angle is made (described in the next section).

4.11.1 COMMUNICATION CONFIGURATION

In order for communication SofHaliza to Haliza run smoothly, the requirements to be met are:

On computer, USB adapter driver is installed with baudrate “115200”.

The USB “Com/Port” channel name is the same between

device manager computer and SofHaliza.

Pointer menu Haliza is inside “Communication”

Here’s the communication configuration setup on SofHaliza computer. Main interface SofHaliza windows and linux Operating System is not much differences. To start communication Haliza to SofHaliza: 1. Pointing the cursor Haliza to “Komunikasi” menu, as seen

5.1.2 HALIZA BATTERY CHARGING PROCEDURE

Requirement:

1. Original Haliza battery charger. Procedure:

1. Prepare original charger and Haliza analyzer in nonhazardous area.

Note

Do not use Haliza analyzer to collect data when the battery voltage <10 Volt. It is to avoid discharged or exhausted battery in the middle of data collection.

Peringatan

Avoid charging Haliza battery when data collection is in progress. Charge only in non-hazardous area.

3. Insert the power supply connector into the “Charging/PickUp“ port Haliza. The Haliza analyzer can be

powered on or off while charging. 4. Plug the AC connector of the power supply into a standard AC

outlet, ranging from 100 – 240 VAC, 50-60 Hz. 5. When charger is connected to Haliza, red LED on Haliza will

blink and the battery voltage level will increase. You can see increasing battery level if Haliza turned on.

It is recommended that Haliza not be left unattended while charging is in progress.

5.2 HALIZA PREPARE IMPLEMENTATION PROCEDURE

5.2.1 ENGINE TOP DEAD CENTER MARKING

Peralatan:

1. Manual / reference from the engine manufacturer, to find first Firing Order as TDC (Top Dead Center), usually it is cylinder number #1.

2. Permanent marker pen for marking (usually white color).

Procedure:

1. Inform or communicate to Operator or Maintenance Crew before performing the job. Stop the engine if there is no attached marker on shaft as speed reference.

2. Position cylinder #1 (or other cylinder according to the manual) at TDC.

3. Put a sign on the bearing housing (as static part) and flywheel (as rotating part), or the other area on the same shaft.

5.2.2 INSTALL RPM SENSOR MARKER

Requirement:

1. Bolts / thumbtack (for proximity sensor), reflector tape (for optical sensor)

2. Rubber 3. Adhesive / glue 4. RPM Sensor (Magnetik Pick Up) and cable 5. Magnetic holder stand

Procedure:

1. Find safe place on the shaft / flywheel to install RPM / sensor marker.

2. If there is no installed permanent bolt on shaft, we can use alternative speed marker (thumbtack). Attach thumbtack on rubber using glue and then attach it it on the shaft. Use super glue for strong and fast act adhesion.

3. Attach the speed sensor (magnetic pick up or optical sensor) onto the holder and magnetic stand. For RPM sensor (magnetic pickup ), the distance position

between magnetic pick up and speed marker around 3 – 5mm. For optical sensor, the distance position between sensor and reflector are around 50 – 100 mm.

4. Put the magnetic stand on the flat surface, then adjust the arm to find suitable and safe direction of RPM sensor, so the measurement data correctly read and received by Haliza.

5. After magnetic holder stand to be directed properly, attach / connect RPM sensor cable to Haliza, so the magnetic field changes can be read by RPM sensor (for magnetic pickup type). However, for the optical sensor will receive reflection from reflector / marker on the shaft/flywheel.

6. Bring the Haliza menu to “Other Function”

7. Press “Ok”, then select menu “Timing Light Test” that will

shows dialog as captured below:

8. When target / marker on shaft changes, sensor akan

mendeteksi ada perubahan medan magnet disekitarnya (untuk sensor RPM magnetic pickup) atau pantulan cahaya (untuk sensor optik) maka sensor kecepatan/RPM akan mengirimkan sinyal ke Haliza.

9. Ensure RPM sensor works correctly, which is indicated by a blinking of LED light RPM sensor and LED Haliza.

10. If no speed information is detected, please check the alignment between marker and the sensor, check maximum distance allowed for each used sensor type.

5.2.3 CHECK CORRECTION ANGLE

Requirement: 1. Timing light 2. RPM Sensor attached with magnetic stand 3. Marker cable 4. Haliza Analyzer

Procedure:

1. Check RPM sensor. 2. Install marker cable and connect Haliza to magnetic pick up

(MPU). Blinking LED on Haliza shows that the speed is detected.

3. Connect timing light cable to the Timing Light port on Haliza 4. Select menu “Other Function”, then “Pickup Correction

Angle”.

Warning

Do not use Timing Light more than 5 seconds for equipment speed above 3000 rpm.

5. The equipment RPM read on Haliza screen is shown on “Set

Pickup Correction”, as described on Picture 84 below.

6. Point the timing light gun to the TDC mark on the static part. 7. Use “Left” or “Right” Haliza button to change the value of

correction angle incrementally (value correction angle from 0 to 359).

8. Use “Up” or “Down” Haliza button to change the value of

correction angle by multiple times. 9. Then press “Ok” on keypad Haliza, if the marking made on

static and rotating parts are aligned. 10. The correct value of “Correction Angle” is displayed.

5.2.4 COMBUSTION PRESSURE MEASUREMENT

Requirement:

1. Pressure Sensor 2. Kiene valve (attached on the measured equipment) 3. 35 mm wrench

Procedure:

1. Flush the combustion chamber by opening kiene valve or indicator cock, before the pressure sensor is installed. This is to remove carbon deposit from combustion chamber.

2. Attach the pressure sensor, use 35 mm wrench to tighten. 3. Ensure the pressure sensor is properly connected, then the

kiene valve or indicator cock can be opened slowly.

4. Select menu “Acquire Route Data” It will show all of route

data. 5. Select desired route using up/down button, then press “ok”. 6. Select “Open Route” and press “ok”.

7. Select desired cylinder to be measured using up/down button with the information on right column is “Pres. Recip (Combustion Engine)”, then press “ok” and select top menu, press “Collect Data”.

8. Then the LCD display will change to “Pressure (Engine) –Crank Angle” Graph, as captured below:

9. Is combustion pressure displayed properly? If not, check

whether the kiene valve is already opened fully. You can see the maximum pressure and engine speed detected in Haliza display.

10. If collected data has been reached, then press “ok” and “Save Data” to start recording.

11. When data recording is completed, it will show “Finish” on

the Haliza display. 12. Press “ok” and ”Cancel “ or “X” button to finish recording,

and the display will return to cylinder order. 13. Close kiene valve, ensure it is properly closed. 14. Open pressure transducer using 35 mm wrench.. 15. Proceed to the next cylinder. Follow the instruction above.

5.2.5 COMPRESSOR PRESSURE MEASUREMENT

Requirement:

1. Pressure Sensor 2. Kiene valve (attached on the measured equipment) 3. 35 mm wrench.

Procedure:

1. Flush the compressor cylinder by opening the kiene valve or indicator cock before the pressure sensor is installed. This is to remove sludge or carbon in compressor cylinder.

2. Attach the pressure sensor to kiene valve, use 35 mm wrench to tighten.

3. Select menu “Acquire Route Data”, then it will show the list

of all saved route. 4. Select desired route using UP/DOWN button, then press “ok”

and select “Open Route” 5. When menu highlighted in “Open Route”, then select “ok”

6. Select desired compressor cylinders route to be measured using UP/DOWN button with information on the right column is “Pres. Recip (Cylinder Kompresor)” then press “ok” and then select “Collect Data”.

7. When data collection is in progress, we need to do Zero function for compressor pressure.

After pressure sensor is attached with the kiene valve, tighten properly and open valve slowly. For the first cylinder measurement process, the measurement can only be done after 30 seconds in order to heat up the sensor. For the next cylinder, pressure measurement can be done directly without heating procedure.

Close the valve indicator, then unplug the sensor pressure from the kiene valve (do not pull the cable to remove sensor). Let the pressure sensor read the ambient pressure.

Caution

Do not unplug pressure cable from Haliza or pressure transducer during zero function process. It is to avoid wrong zero reference (ambient pressure) for compressor pressure data.

8. Press “ok”, select “Zero” using up/down button before taking

any data, then press “ok”.

9. Attach pressure sensor to kiene valve again and tighten it using 35 mm wrench.

10. Open kiene valve slowly and check rising pressure data on Haliza display. As captured below:

11. If data collected already reached, press “ok” button and

“Save Data” to start record measurement data. 12. When data collection has been reached, then “Finish” dialog

will be displayed on LCD Haliza. Pengumpulan data selesai jika muncul tulisan “Finish” pada layar LCD Haliza.

13. Press “ok” or “Cancel” or “X” button to confirm cylinder

pressure data recording has been done. yang menandakan pengambilan data tekanan silinder selesai dilakukan. Selanjutnya tampilan LCD Haliza akan kembali ke menu Rute. Then the LCD Haliza display will return to route menu.

14. Close kiene valve, ensure it is securely closed. 15. Open pressure transducer using 35 mm wrench. 16. Proceed to the next cylinder according to the created route. 17. For reciprocating compressor data collection, always do zero

function for each cylinder pressure measurement.

5.2.6 VIBRATION DATA RECORDING

Requirement:

1. Vibration Sensor 2. Magnetic Base

Procedure:

1. Clean the area where vibration sensor will be attached, look for the best position around the cylinder head.

2. Connect vibration sensor cable to its appropriate channel on Haliza.

3. Connect magnetic base to vibration sensor. 4. Plugged vibration sensor cable to vibration sensor properly,

then put magnetic base (with vibration sensor) to engine, as captured below:

5. Select menu “Acquire Route Data”, to show all recorded

route. 6. Select route by UP/DOWN Haliza button , then press “ok”

and select “Open Route”. 7. Press “ok” to confirm open route.

8. Select desired cylinder route to be measured using UP/DOWN Haliza keypad with information on right column is “Vibration Recip (Cylinder Engine)”, then press “ok” and “Collect Data”.

6 HALIZA TROUBLESHOOTING

6.1 PREPARATION STEP

Selama tahap persiapan sebelum memulai pegambilan data oleh Haliza, kadangkala kita menghadapi masalah yang tidak kita duga pada tahap tersebut, meskipun ini sangat jarang sekali terjadi.

6.1.1 SOFHALIZA INSTALLATION FAILURE

Execute check listfile installation package SofHaliza by command line :

1. Check if SofHaliza software has not been install yet:

$ sudo dpkg –l sofhaliza

2. Remove SofHaliza software when SofHaliza not installed successfully :

$ sudo dpkg –r sofhaliza

$ sudo dpkg –-purge sofhaliza

3. Begin SofHaliza software installation:

4. If you cannot uninstall SofHaliza, chek version operating system, it should use Ubuntu 16.04 version 64bit.

$ uname -a

Solution: Do Operating System linux 64bit installation.

6.1.2 SOFHALIZA DATABASE FAIL TO BE MODIFIED

1. When database creation failure, then check status database creation. Solution : Open SofHaliza using command sudo.

2. Jika file database gagal dirubah / modified, maka cek status

owner dan mode file database tersebut. Solution : Change access authorization mode of directory or

move directory creation of database

$ sudo chmod 777 /userSofHaliza/database.dbb

Berikut flowchart penggunaan Sistem Haliza yang bertujuan untuk mempermudah kita dalam mempersiapkan, menggunakan, sampai mendapatkan data yang akurat untuk menghasilkan analisa yang presisi perihal kondisi objek pengukuran.

6.1.3 ANALYZER AND SOFTWARE UNABLE PERFORM COMMUNICATION

Jika rute atau data hasil pengukuran tidak dapat ditranfer maka inilah yang dikatakan bahwa analyzer dan software tidak dapat berkomunikasi. Beberapa penyebab dan solusinya :

1. Haliza Analyzer has not been ready position to receive data communication ( does not inside of communication menu).

Solution: Make sure the position of cursor inside of “Komunikasi” menu. Pastikan bahwa posisi kursor Haliza 10 Analyzer sudah masuk kedalam menu “Komunikasi”.

2. USB-to-serial communication cable driver has not been yet installed on SofHaliza Computer. This often occured due to Komputer belum terinstal driver dari kabel komunikasi serial to USB, hal ini biasa terjadi jika digunakan komputer yang sebelumnya belum pernah digunakan untuk mengukur.

Solution: Install the driver communication cable from

delivered CD or download link on Haliza set.

3. Communication cable broken. If capable, repair the cable connection, if not capable change to new communication cable.

4. Differences number of communication channel (COM), please check on control panel – system – hardware - device manager- ports (COM&LPT).

Solution: samakan COM di computer dan di Sofhaliza,

sebelumnya (jika komunikasi pernah dilakukan sebelum dengan COM yang berbeda) lakukan restart komputer dan Haliza 10 Analyzer.

6.1.4 RPM SENSOR NOT DETECTED

Sensor putaran tidak terdeteksi ditandai tidak berkedipnya led pada pengkondisi sinyal putaran. Beberapa penyebab dan solusinya :

1. Ferro Sensor (rubber and metal) which attached to a shaft that spins the flywheel or equal to engine speed are detached.

Solution: Shutdown the engine, then attach again the new

ferro sensor (rubber and metal).

2. Has not received voltage supply from Haliza Analyzer, could be checked from the led round signal conditioner, 1st as power indicator, 2nd as the signed that magnet pickup has been received signal from ferro sensor (rubber and metal).

Solution: connect 30 metre cable to Haliza Analyzer.

3. Low voltage of battery Haliza Analyzer, so it is not able to supply voltage to the round signal conditioner.

Solution: Please recharge Haliza Analyzer.

4. 30 metre cable is damage, check connection of 30 metre cable by avometer/multimeter.

Solution : resolder the broken connection.

6.1.5 TIMING LIGHT UNIGNITED

Some reason timing light unignited:

1. The rotation (RPM) sensor is not detected yet (undetectable). The timing light ignition follows the rotation sensor, menyala mengikuti sensor putaran, if the rotation sensor is not detected then the timing light will not blinking.

Solution : evaluate the reason rotation signal is not detected (see section rotation sensor is not detected in the previous section).

2. Haliza Analyzer has not entered menu “Cek TDC” with “Timing Light”. Timing light can only light up when the analyzer is already on the menu “Cek TDC” with Timing Light.

Solution : Login to menu “Cek TDC” wth Timing Light on the

Haliza Analyzer.

3. Timing light is dead, although two steps above has been done but Timing Light still will not turn on.

Solution : contact PT. Daun Biru Engineering for improve /

replacement Timing Light.

6.1.6 LCD ANALYZER IS DEAD / BLANK

Here some reason LCD analyzer is dead : 1. Voltage Haliza battery is too low. Haliza operational have

minimum battery voltage at 9,5 volt. If battery voltage is under 9,5 volt, Haliza cannot be switch ON. Solution : Recharge the Haliza battery .

2. LCD broken.

Solution : Contact PT. Daun Biru Engineering to request LCD

replacement.

6.1.7 HALIZA EMPTY BATTERY

Terkadang pemakaian haliza yang sangat jarang dapat berakibat kita lupa melakukan recharge baterai Haliza, sehinga disaat kita membutuhkan Haliza segera kita menemukan tombol switch ON Haliza tidak berfungsi. Untuk hal ini kita perlu mencoba recharge baterai Haliza menggunakan charger Haliza yang tepat. 1. Check dan recharge baterai Haliza selama kurang lebih 4 jam 2. Switch ON Haliza untuk memastikan kondisi baterai dalam

keadaan terisi penuh.

6.2 IMPLEMENTATION STEP

6.2.1 PRESSURE CURVE DOESN NOT APPEAR ON HALIZA

Berikut beberapa sebab Timing Light tidak menyala: 1. Tidak/belum terdeteksinya sinyal putaran. Data tekanan dapat

terambil ketika sensor putaran sudah terdeteksi, apabila sensor putaran tidak terdeteksi maka kurva tekanan pembakaran tidak dapat tampil. Solusi : cek apa penyebab sinyal putaran tidak terdeteksi

(lihat bagian sensor putaran tidak terdeteksi pada bagian sebelumnya.

2. Kabel sensor tekanan putus. Solusi : Cek koneksi kabel dengan avometer, solder

sambungan yang putus jika memungkinkan.

3. Sensor tekanan (pressure tranducer) rusak. Cara untuk memastikan apakah sensor tekanan rusak adalah sebagai berikut: Masuk ke menu “Acquire Route Data”, pilih aset (kompresor) yang akan diukur, “Open Route”, pilih yang menggunakan parameter “Pressure Recip.” untuk memulai “Collect Data”. Setelah masuk grafik “Pressure – Crank”, klik “Ok” untuk memilih menu “ZERO”, lihat tampilan di LCD

Haliza Analyzer, catat angka tegangan, kemudian pasang sensor tekanan dan kabelnya ke kanal sensor (awas jangan tertukar dengan kanal sensor putaran), setelah sensor tekanan terpasang lihat angka tegangan yang tertera pada LCD haliza analyzer. Jika angka tidak berubah berati ada kemungkinan, antara kabel yang putus sambungannya (lihat poin no.2 diatas) atau jika sudah dipastikan bahwa kondisi kabel baik maka dapat dipastikan sensor tekanan mengalami kerusakan. Solusi : Hubungi PT. Daun Biru Engineering untuk

perbaikan/penggantian sensor tekanan, kirim sensor tekanan dan kabel sensor tekanan dan Haliza 10 analyzer, karena

selain penggantian sensor tekanan memerlukan kalibrasi.

6.2.2 VIBRATION CURVE DOES NOT APPEAR ON HALIZA

Beberapa penyebab tidak timing light menyala:

1. Tidak/belum terdeteksinya sinyal putaran. Timing light menyala mengikuti sensor putaran, apabila sensor putaran tidak terdeteksi maka analyzer tidak akan bisa masuk menu pengukuran.

Solusi: Cek apa penyebab sinyal putaran tidak terdeteksi

(lihat bagian sensor putaran tidak terdeteksi pada bagian sebelumnya.

2. Kabel sensor getaran. Solusi: Cek koneksi kabel dengan avometer, solder

sambungan yang putus jika memungkinkan.

3. Sensor getaran (accelerometer) rusak. Cara untuk memastikan apakah sensor getaran rusak adalah sebagai berikut: Pasangkan sensor getaran bersama kabel ke Haliza. Kemudian masuk ke menu SPEKTRUM GETARAN di haliza analyzer. Kemudian tempelkan sensor getaran kepada benda yang bergetar (misalnya sensor ditaruh pada salah satu sisi dari pompa yang berputar). Pada layar harusnya muncul frekuensi (f) dan velocity (v) yang berubah-ubah. Jika tidak ada perubahan nilai pada layar, maka bisa dipastikan sensor tersebut bermasalah. Solusi: Hubungi PT. Daun Biru Engineering untuk

perbaikan/penggantian sensor getaran, kirim sensor getaran dan kabel sensor tekanan dan haliza analyzer.

6.3 DATA PROCESSING STEP

6.3.1 PROBLEM DURING DATA TRANSFER HALIZA TO SOFHALIZA

Cek status initialisasi kabel komunikasi didalam komputer linux Ubuntu dengan cara: 1. Cek pada lokasi /var/log/messages apakah terdeteksi kode

hardware USB, jika tidak terdeteksi/tidak ada perubahan log berarti device/hardware USB bermasalah. Perlu di crosscek apakah prolific atau USB2.0 yang bermasalah Penampakan usb yang tidak terdeteksi Penampakan usb yang terdeteksi normal

2. Pastikan hardware haliza dalam keadaan normal bekerja. 3. Cek fungsi kabel konektor dari haliza ke USB prolific

converter dalam keadaan baik 4. Pastikan laptop pemroses data Haliza dalam keadaan baik,

6.3.2 UNABLE TO POWER ON HALIZA

Jika dalam pemrosesan data Haliza tidak dapat terdeteksi oleh SofHaliza: 1. Pastikan keadaan baterai Haliza terisi. Jika masih tidak bisa

menyala, crosscek tegangan dan arus baterai output Haliza. 2. Jika Baterai dalam kondisi penuh kemungkinan besar kondisi

sumber daya listrik Haliza bermasalah, segera hubungi Daunbiru. Berikan evidence berupa foto maupun logs yang menandakan Haliza tidak terdeteksi oleh komputer SofHaliza.

7 APPENDIX

A. MODIFICATION FROM PREVIOUS VERSION

Jika kita sudah familiar dengan Haliza versi sebelumnya, maka kita akan menyadari bahwa beberapa feature sudah berpindah atau/dan berganti nama sebagai bagian dari design ulang keseluruhan untuk membuat tampilan lebih flexible dan lebih eye catching. Bagian dalam buku ini menyediakan beberapa tips untuk menolong Anda dalam mencari capability dalam interface yang baru:

Software analisa SofHaliza tersedia dalam dua sistem operasi, yakni Windows 7 dan Linux 16.04. Dalam versi sebelumnya analisis data dari Haliza menggunakan satu jenis sistem operasi, namun kini bisa dilakukan pada dua jenis.

Untuk mempermudah pemakaian sistem Haliza, buku ini sudah dilengkapi flowchart penggunaan Haliza sampai tahap analisa data.

Pembuatan aset pengukuran bisa menggunakan manual dan otomatis. Penambahan parameter kedalam aset secara otomatis atau melalui wizard, berarti menambahkan parameter pengukuran dari database yang sudah disediakan oleh SofHaliza. Penambahan Parameter juga dapat dilakukan setelah penambahan Aset melalui wizard sudah selesai.

Setting konfigurasi komunikasi data Haliza ke SofHaliza Linux dapat dilakukan secara otomatis.

Setting konfigurasi komunikasi data Haliza ke SofHaliza windows memerlukan driver terpisah. Berbeda cara

B. DIESEL ENGINE

Untuk mempermudah analisa performa mesin diesel berdasarkan kondisi getaran dan tekanan ruang bakarnya, Komponen utama mesin diesel tergambar sebagai berikut:

Proses siklus Mesin Diesel :

1. Proses Hisap

Intake valve is open, exhaust valve is close position.

Due to piston turn down position, then cylinder pressure will be vacuumed. This condition consequences to fresh air enter through the cylinder.

Besides the fresh air function as fuel mixture, also used as cooler engine combustion room.

2. Proses Kompresi

Intake valve and exhaust in closed position.

The movement of piston from bottom to top position causes pressure inside combustion room increasing.

The high pressure then will be mixed through the fuel at the end of movement cycle step.

3. Proses ekspansi

Intake valve and exhaust in closed position.

Ignition inside combustion room presses the piston to their bottom position.

This is the one proses which resulting what is to be called as job.

4. Proses Buang

Exhaust valve and intake valve is open position.

The piston movement from the bottom through to top will causes the rest air expelled flows outside from combustion room.

The cycles will be repeated to the beginning process, suction.
