Principal’s Update

The first week back is officially behind us. It was a very calm week. As we walked around class-rooms, we saw you going where you left off. We must continue to work hard for our students and continue to get them to produce amazing results. All students were addressed at the class meetings. Emphasize what was discussed. Dress code: blue, khaki, or black pants. (No jeans until attendance increases). Polo shirts: Blue, grey or white. Jackets, hoodies and pull overs allowed to be worn at all times must be navy blue, grey, or a Clarke Spirit or AHS Spirit. All oth-ers must be taken off or unzipped to show the polo shirt. Emphasize to students owner-ship of their own grades, and their ability to finish strong. Always remind them of how to behave in the classroom and outside of the classroom. Your continued support in the hallways during transition is important. This semester will keep moving at lightning speed. Use all of the time you have with the students in the classroom efficiently and effec-tively. Together as a team, we will experience success with our stu-dents. The upside to all this is that

you have beautifully laid the

foundation with the students

the first semester. We can ob-

bered by you, and take owner-

Needless to say, all the
