In the girl’s bathroom! Junior Shan Lee turns Lucy Grimm’s shirt into a Halloween Costume while Julia smiles, giving her approval. Then they went to their homeroom to put on their scary make-up. Ms. Sumida Senior Maryam Palma gets ready to stick her hand in one of the ‘slime buckets’. She was the winner because she got most of them correct. The Class of 2009 prepares their costumes as a deck of cards. Mrs. Wehrsig and Deacon Andrews got into the theme too and played “Go Fish” for the judges. Juniors On October 31,2008 Saint Joseph School celebrated Halloween with a special assembly. Faculty and students dressed in wigs, costumes and make-up participated fun games and contests. Students could enter themselves in the costume contest. Earlier students shared treats with each other. At the Halloween Assembly Seniors wore unusual costumes, they dressed up as a deck of cards. The Juniors and their homeroom teacher Ms. Sumida wore a scary costume and danced to “Thriller”. This was fun for both students and staff .
