Permanent Recruitment – Added Value Services;

Why candidates match your requirements;

We always provide you with the information about why we believe a candidate matches your needs. We can do this face to face with the relevant CV's, over the telephone or by providing a summary profile of why each candidate has been matched to your key criteria, whichever method you prefer at the time to suit you.

Salary Survey's;

We regularly conduct salary surveys that cover all levels of roles across our core specialisms and welcome your contribution to this. We are happy to provide you with details of our findings.

Service Evaluation;

We want to ensure that our service is exactly what you need it to be. We therefore conduct face-to-face Service Reviews, at a frequency to suit you. We also send you our Service Evaluation forms to complete after each placement that we make with you.

Temporary Staffing – Added Value Services

Legal Compliance;

We work with you to ensure legal compliance at all times and brief you on upcoming legislation e.g. AWR (Agencies Workers Regulations).

Job Shadowing;

As with permanent vacancies, we are happy to job shadow the role to be filled by a Temporary Assignment professional, so that we fully understand your requirements and can match effectively.

Free Handover Period;

For long-term bookings, we offer a four hour free handover period if our Temporary Assignment Professional needs to be briefed on their role by a member of your staff or an outgoing Temporary Assignment Professional.

Service Evaluation;

We pride ourselves on service excellence, so we monitor our Temporary Staffing Service to you in three keyways;

1. Regular face-to-face Service Reviews with you at a frequency of your choice.2. Service Evaluation per Temporary Assignment Professional –we send you a Service Evaluation form for you to evaluate them as an individual. This helps us in their Appraisals, as well as knowing how well they are performing for you and how well we have met your needs.3. Service Evaluation of Hamlin Knight – we send you a Service Evaluation form about our service and how well your consultant is meeting your requirements. This can again be at a frequency of your choosing.

Communication;

We understand that successful working partnerships are based on regular communication, so we will alwayskeep you informed about every stage in finding the right Temporary Assignment Professionals for you.

30 Minute Response Time;

We aim to respond to your request for a Temporary Assignment Professional within 30 minutes. This means that we will tell you immediately if we can provide the right person for you, or to agree what our next actions will be to assist your needs.

Our Recruitment Services

Permanent Staffing

To support you in filling positions from a junior level to a senior manager level. We operate on a contingent basis where we only charge an introductory fee if we successfully fill your vacant position.

Temporary Staffing Provision of temporary staff; “Assignment Professionals” Assignment professionals are available to provide short and long term cover for special projects, staff shortages or peaks in workload.

Contract Staffing

Supply high calibre staff on a fixed term contract basis. Contracts typically range from 3 months to 1 year in duration.

Temporary – Permanent Staffing

Enables you to fill a position with a candidate who starts work with you on a temporary basis initially. Once both parties are certain that the match is right they become a permanent member of your staff.

Permanent placements

We offer a refund if your chosen candidate leaves your employment within the first 12 weeks, subject to ourterms and conditions.

ConfidentialityWe ensure the strictest confidentiality atall stages of the recruitment process.

Liaison & NegotiationWe act as your intermediary atall stages of the recruitmentprocess, ensuring thatcommunication is effectivebetween all parties concerned.We tactfully handle rejectedcandidates and negotiate theterms of employment with yourchosen candidate in order toachieve a positive outcome.We continue to act as yourcommunicator until your newemployee joins you. We will keep in contact with youon a regular basis to ensure thattheir employment is working outsuccessfully.

Client Interviews &Candidate BriefingWe arrange your interviews withyour chosen candidates fromyour short-list.Most importantly, we brief andde-brief the candidates beforeand after the interview. This will ensure that they areaware of the company and thejob requirements, so that yourtime is not wasted.We will also provide you withfeedback direct from thecandidates, based on their viewsand interest in the company andposition itself.

ReferencingOur references cover ability, skills,integrity and personal standards.We always take at least tworecent references on candidateswho may work for us in TemporaryAssignments, or on a contractbasis.For candidates seeking permanentpositions we are happy to takeup references, although some companies prefer to conducttheir own referencing procedure.

Presenting the Short-listWe present suitable candidatesto you, in the manner that suitsyou best. We will either telephone you orarrange to meet with you inperson to discuss the candidate(s)you are interested in.

Candidate Interviews byHamlin KnightWe always personally interviewall prospective candidates.Candidates are seen on anappointment basis only, in privateinterview suites.Our interviewing procedure isvery thorough; we explore experience, skill sets, qualifications,personal motivators, ambitionsand career goals.Candidates are given solid adviceabout the employment marketand their career.

Sourcing CandidatesYour Recruitment Consultant hasfour key methods to sourcepotential candidates for yourposition or assignment:

Searching our pool of registeredjob seekers.Using our extensive advertisingspend to place advertisements inthe relevant media.Utilising web advertising andrecruitment websites, to which Hamlin Knight are subscribed.Liaising with other Hamlin Knight offices in the network.

Position ProfileWe then draw up a Position Profilethat is used for matching withpotential candidates and fordiscussing the position with them.

AdviceConsultant will give you adviceon salaries and remuneration packages, the local employmentmarket and agree the stages ofthe recruitment process to meetyour needs.The consultant can view yourworking environment to matchcandidates to fit into yourcompany culture.
