Extensive pre-deployment product testing,
often in close cooperation with leading

ensures that Flow-Turn power turns and
spirals operate reliably for many years,

FLOW-TURN baggage curves are
available in the Chain-Turn design with
chain drive and tapered pulleys, in the
Square-Turn design with chain drive and
cylindrical end rolls, and in the Flat-Turn
design with friction drive and tapered
pulleys.
Baggage spirals are available as single
belt Spiral-Turn conveyors for up to 180
degree angles, or combined with multiple
spiral segments as Spiral-Tower.

FLOW-TURN’s Square-Turn belt curve design with
cylindrical pucks has significant advantages over
traditional curves with tapered pulleys:
❑ Parallel belt-to-belt conveyor transitions,
eliminating the trapezoidal gap of tapered pulleys
❑ Shaft diameters and pucks are uniform in size,
while tapered pulleys vary by inside and outside
radius – this greatly simplifies parts stock keeping
❑ Reduced noise – due to the cylindrical end roll
design, the belt lacing approaches the end rolls at a
slight angle, reducing the slapping noise when
lacing reaches a tapered pulley. Plus, the high-
density plastic puck material absorbs sound better
than steel pulleys.
❑ Drives are arranged parallel and perpendicular as
on straight belt conveyors

FTT60-23_37-90 Flat-Turn Ticket Counter Curve with
Stainless Steel Shroud, friction driven by motorized drive
pulley (VDG Drum Motor) and mounted on heavy-duty
casters.
The small footprint of the curve, in combination with the
internal drive and the casters, allows this curve to be
easily rolled out for maintenance access to both the
curve and a fire door adjacent to the power turn.
