Social-demographic criteria have little impact on happiness
Age, social-professionnal categories, rural or urban life or pets do not affect happiness.
Senior women who travel or go on holidaysare the happiest, whatever their nationality (8.3).
Senior women who have a smartphone or a tablet are also happy (8.1), as well as those who buy a lot of clothes (8.1).
Senior women who spend a lot of time watching TV are less happy (7.4).

Neither age nor social-professional category affect Happiness.
Conclusion
British women aged 55+ are the happiest.
Health becomes a very significant factor with age.
Television cannot buy happiness but has a significant place in the life of women aged 55+. The time watching TV inscreases with
age.
At any age and especially in France, being in a relationship is an essential factor to be
happy.French women have the highest retirement
income. They are also the least satisfied with their financial situation.
Trips, holidays, online and offline activities are the best sources of happiness!
