Warm and Cheery Greetings this Holiday Season! I am hopeful that you and
your loved ones have a joyful and blessed holiday, and that the New Year brings
peace and happiness. Council is looking forward with optimism and a true
sense of duty to work with one and all to ensure Pantego is prosperous in the
coming year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! - Mayor Paradise
I would like to wish
everyone a very Merry Christmas!! One of the
things that I am truly grateful for, is that I am now
a Granddad!! This is an exciting time in my life
and I now see what so many folks have told me to
be true!! It is absolutely amazing!! I am also
grateful for all my family, it just doesn’t get much
better. With all the craziness in the world today,
I just want to surround myself with family and
friends. I look forward to the colder weather, fam-
ily gatherings, sitting by the fireplace or outdoor
fire pits and all the fellowship time that follows.
It’s that time of year to meet, greet and help out
folks that need it the most. I hope everyone feels
the same way too. I hope everyone has a Merry
Christmas and an awesome New Year! - Mayor
Pro-Tem Brewster
Wishing Pantego a safe holiday
season, Christmas blessings to all,
and a new year filled with health
and prosperity.

Pantego Lions Club Annual Food Drive
The annual food drive benefiting Arlington charities was a big
success again this year!
Approximately 3,000 pounds of food products were collected by the Pantego Lions Club and another 4,000 pounds of food products
were donated from the Silverleaf Resorts employees. Their employees have contributed for at least 12 years and have donated
many tons of food.
A big THANK YOU for donations & Silverleaf Resorts!!!
Mayor’s Red Kettle Challenge! Saturday, December 12, 2015 from 8:30am to 6:00pm
Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market at 303/Bowen
It’s time again for the Town of Pantego to come out and support The Salvation Army’s Red
Kettle Challenge! This will be the 6th year for Pantego’s Mayor Melody Paradise to participate
in this Challenge, going up against the Mayors of Arlington, Mansfield, Dalworthington
Gardens, and Kennedale. Every year Pantego has risen to the occasion and far outshined the
other cities by raising more money per capita.
Join Mayor Paradise in making this a successful and festive event by stop-
ping by to ring the bells, sing carols, greet folks or just to offer words of en-
couragement. So spread the word to your neighbors, friends, and to a
groups who want to come on out and participate –the more the merrier!!
If you would like to help sponsor this event please contact Mayor Paradise or
City Secretary Julie Arrington for more information. Looking forward to see-
ing everyone on Saturday the 12th and thanks so much for helping to make
this year a successful one for The Salvation Army!!
Pantego Rocks this Challenge and this year shall be no different!!
In Loving Memory…
