“Love is patient; love is kind. Love is not jealous; is not proud; is not conceited; does not act foolishly; is not selfish; is not easily provoked to anger; keeps no record of wrongs; takes no pleasure in unrighteousness, but rejoices in the truth; love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures
all things.”
~ I Corinthians 13:4-7.

Happy Mother’s Day May 14, 2017
Dear Parish Family, A WARM WELCOME TO ALL OF OUR PARISHIONERS AND ALL WHO ARE VISITING WITH US TODAY! Please know we are very happy you have decided to worship with us today. You are most welcomed and loved at this special place! If you need any type of service or ministry please do not hesitate to call me or any member of our staff. We are most happy to serve you!
ANNUAL SPRING NOVENA: Each Spring, Saint Mary Parish conducts a Novena in honor of a title of Our Blessed Lady. This year, since it is the 100th Anniversary of the apparition of Our Lady of Fatima (1917-2017), we will pray a Nine Day Novena in honor of Our Lady of Fatima beginning on May 7 until May 15 at 7:00PM.
Please note: The Holy Rosary will be prayed beginning at 6:30PM. Please join us in this most powerful Novena of our times.
PARISH GIVING: I highly recommend that all of our parishioners look into the idea of Electronic Funds Transfer. This method of giving/contribution, as you know, is paperless. Your contribution will be transferred from your account (whatever
account you select: savings, checking, etc.) to the parish account. Why is this important? Well, in order to keep our parish solvent we have to try not to go under budget. In Parish Giving, you will not have to worry about your Church contribution when you are away visiting another parish, on vacation, while you are under the weather or forgot to stop at an ATM before church. Please go to our church website and click the 3rd tab at the TOP called Parish Giving. Follow the easy to follow prompts. If you have any questions please call our Parish Business Manager, Mary Beth O'Connor for more information. Thanks for considering. For all of our parishioners, whether currently using Parish Giving (Electronic Funds Transfer) or not, please consider increasing your donation by $1.
THANK YOU: I extend a very big thank you to Kathy Wasniewski, Coordinator of Religious Education and her entire team who coordinated the Annual May Procession
and Crowning. I extend as well warm thanks to Susan Rodzewich and Joann McHugh for coordinating the Annual Spring Novena with Kathy Wasniewski, Thank you for allowing us to appreciate and receive the beauty, love and graces of our Blessed Lady through these devotions.
MEMORIAL DAY CELEBRATION: On Wednesday, May 24, Saint Mary Home and School will conduct its Annual Memorial Day Celebration here on the campus of Saint Mary Roman Catholic Church. If you have never attend this celebration I
encourage you to join us. The celebration begins with the 9:00AM Mass followed by various ceremonies which are very uplifting. Our school children take a very active role in this remembrance.
MEMORIAL DAY: On Monday, May 29 we celebrate Memorial Day as a nation. Please begin your Memorial Day with Holy Mass at 9:00AM. May God receive into the arms of His mercy our deceased brothers and sisters who have died
fighting for our freedom. SPRING MUSICAL: On the weekend of May 19-21 Saint Mary Catholic School will perform its Spring Musical: Peter Pan, Jr. Please consider coming to our show. The musical will be performed in our Parish Hall on Friday, May 19 at 7:00PM,
Saturday, May 20 at 7:00PM and Sunday, May 21 at 2:00PM. Tickets can be purchased at the door prior to each performance.
CONGRATULATIONS AND PRAYERFUL BEST WISHES: We are grateful to God for calling our priests and deacons to the Sacrament of Holy Orders in service to His Church. Congratulations to these men celebrating the Anniversary of their
Ordination: Father Bellopede celebrating 26 years, Father Kean celebrating 9 years, Deacon Don Nichols celebrating 4 years, and Deacon Dave Kolesky celebrating 2 years.
