From losing one of the worlds greatest basketball players, Kobe Bryant, to Congressman John Lewis and Supreme Court Justice, Ruth Ginsburg, and thousands and thousands of lives lost and affected by the deadly Coronavirus disease; this pandemic has really burdened the hearts of people everywhere. Despite the devastating tragedies and heartbreaking diagnosis, we as a nation still have a reason to be thankful. Psalms 30:5 declares, Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning”. During this season of thanksgiving, allow a spirit of joy to inundate your mind by capturing precious unique moments with the ones you love the most. Whether its a virtual holiday dinner, or an extended air hug, these acts of love will create a memorable memory to be cherished from one generation to the next. I encourage every Fairburnnite to arise and be thankful for the many blessings that have been bestowed upon us, even in the midst of this pandemic! Happy Thanksgiving Fairburn! Greetings,

The City of Fairburn along with other municipalities have witnessed major tribulation in 2020. From losing one of the world’s greatest basketball players, Kobe Bryant, to Congressman John Lewis and Supreme Court Justice, Ruth Ginsburg, and thousands and thousands of lives lost and affected by the deadly Coronavirus disease; this pandemic has really burdened the hearts of people everywhere. Despite the devastating tragedies and heartbreaking diagnosis, we as a nation still have a reason to be thankful. Psalms 30:5 declares, “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning”. During this

season of thanksgiving, allow a spirit of joy to inundate your mind by capturing precious unique moments with the ones you love the most. Whether it’s a virtual holiday dinner, or an extended air hug, these acts of love will create a memorable memory to be cherished from one generation to the next. I encourage every Fairburnnite to arise and be thankful for the many blessings that have been bestowed upon us, even in the midst of this pandemic!
