achieve 100 per cent electricity

connection to each and every

household of Bihar

OVERVIEW

In order to boost the electricity growth to next level

the program “ Har Ghar Bijli Lagataar ” is

introduced and with this program the state

government of Bihar ensures the electricity

connection to each and every household of Bihar.

In this context, two software applications have

been developed i.e.

Mobile application (Har Ghar Bijli)

Web application 2

SALIENT FEATURES

New APL connection process is fully online; nomanual work is to be done.

Two separate mobile apps has been developed; i.e. onefor Registration & Meter Installation and other forVerification by JEE/PMA.

Web application will be used by Utility Officers forcreation of Users, assignment of Roles, meterallocation to PIAs, viewing MIS Reports and approvalfor billing cycle.

After registration process applicant will receive amessage with acknowledgement no.

In message, applicant will be informed about thetentative verification date and meter installationdate. 3
