GEOLOGICAL SETTING

The GMB Raja is located inSouth Sumatra Basin which is tothe east of the BarisanMountains and extends into theoffshore areas to the northeastand is regarded as a back-arcbasin, which is bounded by theBarisan Mountains to thesouthwest, and the pre-Tertiaryof the Sunda Shelf to thenortheas. The South SumatraBasin was formed during east-west extension at the end of thepre-Tertiary to the beginning ofTertiary times (Daly et al., 1987).

Basic assessment consists of financial ability and technical commitment that is offered by tender participants. Participants which pass the basic assessment are those who fulfill administrative requirements; fulfill technical aspect; and have financial ability to support the firm commitment.

The Final Assessment is a combination of participants proposal of work program & commitment, signature bonus and sharing split.
