We were very happy to share the Joy and Happiness with you
all that Hariksha Peoples Welfare Trust is entering into its 2nd
Decade Service to the children with all your assistance,
support, direction, co-operation and collaboration.
We are thanking you all for the generous support and
expecting to extend it as much as possible.
The Children, Staff are felt very happy and welcomed the new
Decade. The staff shown their energy as it is on the first day.
The children are filled with joy and happiness to celebrate the
Organization’s 10 year service.
MR PRATAP PUBLIC CHARITABLE TRUST ensured their support of Rs. 37,500/-
towards the college fee of the boy Ramesh, D.T.Ed.,(Special Education) on 1st Aug-
17.
The last year accounts auditing by the Charted Accountant completed and the Income
Tax Returns submitted on 17th
August 2017.
The FCRA account returns (Foreign Contribution Regulation Act) file is submitted on
26th
October 2017 for the period of 2016-2017
Our well wisher corporate Q Brik extended its support of Rs. 1, 00,000/- towards
Hariksha Learning Centre’s running expenses.
Again Q Brik contributed Rs. 35,000/- towards the Dress expenses for Rainbow Life
Children Home, Hariksha Adult Girls Home, Gingee for Diwali Celebration
We are very happy to express our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Bhaskar and Q Brik Team for the
kind support to provide the dresses to Hariksha Children for Diwali Celebration. As everyone
familiar that India is a land of fasts and festivals, these festivals are observed throughout the
year with great excitement and enjoyment by the children.
To celebrate the important festival of lights, which unite the people, make amuse the children
with great enthusiasm and happiness, Q Brik & Team performed the action in a proper time
and in the proper way which is difficult for other to do. We are thanking you all very much
for the dress which is chosen by the children by their choice, the children are expressed their
heart filled thanks to each and every one of Q Brik.

Centre’s running expenses
Mr. Sridhar from Navi Mumbai contributed Rs. 35,000/- towards the girl Priya’s
Diploma course 1st year fee
To share the happiness of Mr. Shridhar’s daughter’s marriage, he donated Rs.
15,000/- towards one day special food expenses on 27.10.2017
Mrs. Dhanalaskhmi Rajaram from Chennai donated Rs 5,000/- towards HLC centre

We have applied for the implementation agency for the Chief Minister’s Insurance
scheme for special need children under our organization, the department accepted our
application and started to approve the proposal
Mr. Alex from Kdm, France had visit our HLC centre to evaluate the last training of
KDM physiotherapy training programme at HLC staffs and parents last year, he came

Festival Celebration:
Organization’s 11th
Anniversary is celebrated with great joy, enthusiasm; full of energy and
heart filled celebrations by the staff team shared it with the children.
On 15th
August the children are participated in the Independence Day Celebration their
schools. The children participated the events ie., drawing, speech competition, and performed
their extra talents in Karate, Yoga and Dance. They are appreciated with prizes. S. suriya
won first prize for the speech competition in District level
Hariksha Learning Centre Independence Day celebration is celebrated in a grand manner.
The children and the staff team member are participated in the celebration. The day is started
with Tamil Prayer song, the National Flag is hoisted by the Managing Trustee followed by
National Anthem. All are provided with sweets.
On 25th
August, the starting of the festivals Ganesh Chathurthy is celebrated with
full of joy and habitually celebrated. The clay Ganesh idol brought home, the children
offered the available grass garland and fruits.
In this celebration the children of Rainbow Life Children Home Children & Staff are also
came and joined in the celebration. The Learning Centre and the temple are decorated with
mango leaves, banana samplings, variety typical food items are made, worshipped and
distributed to the children. The children are taken care of the complete pooja and the
worship.
Saraswathi Pooja & Ayudha Pooja is celebrated as a tribute to the equipments
and educational stationeries. The vehicles are decorated, the houses are cleaned, the
equipments are cleaned and made array in pooja room. The children are pray for a good
education, given their respect to the equipments which is useful to their day to day lives. All
the staff are provided with new dress.

The 11th
Anniversary of Hariksha Learning Centre is celebrated on 7th
September 2017. The
11 year service is celebrated with cakes, sweets and snacks. The children are enjoyed the
celebration, all the children are provided with the sweet and snacks pack to their houses.

Officer visit:
We received letter from Chennai disable commissioner office regarding school recognition
renewal purposes, a few documents are missing, and towards this we have submitted the
relevant documents to the DDAW Office, Villupuram on 16th
.
We apply for the building stability certificate to the Melmalaynoor Thasildhar office (form-
D) form D purposes, in this reason Tasildar visited the HLC centre on 03.08.17 and check the
staff and children details, verified the Children National I.D.Cards, and check the food menu
also visited all the place class rooms, therapy room and kitchen toilets, After the inspection
visit, he provided approval Form D from 01.07.2017 to 30.06.2020 issued on 04.08.17.

Parents meeting:
On 5th
August 2017 the parents, teachers consultative meeting took place, in this meeting 20
parents are participated.
Enquired about the children health at home, to check regularly in case if you find any
medical problem immediate attentions provided to the needy children
Request to all parent to come on time for the parents meeting
Also we informed to the vocational class activity children parents to inform the
provided needed notebook and pencil and to inform all the parents to check regularly
home work
In case of emergency or not able to attend the parents meeting we requested to share it
us by phone and come next week to know the status for the children and know the
meeting discussion information
While had discussion with the parents about their children’s development, most of the
parents not able to update the current level performance.
UDID card registration we inform to all the parents done by own, in case some of the
parents not able to register online our staff will be help the online registration
We explain current level finance position and request to help their local level
contribution cash or kind.
We are inform to parent to come and attendant the 3 month evaluation, to know their
children development
Information shared to the parents to send their children with clean and neat (washed)

While start of the meeting we shared the individual child’s performance analysis and
detailed information with individual parent and we requested to take participate in the
quarterly assessment of their children
We also inform to the parents we are waiting for the sponsor for the school uniform
when we get sponsor we will provided soon
Third Parent meeting contact on 14th
on October in this meeting totally 25 parents are

o In this meeting we had discussion about each children health issue, we informed to all
parent should aware about the fever, as the Dengue fever is epidemic we informed to
the parents to give immediate medical attention to it and also informed not to send the
children with fever.
o Clear information about the Dengue & Viral fever is furnished to the parents and the
needed prevention measures and precaution is explained
o Also we share all the parents to give the nilavembu kudinir to all the children and
adult to prevent the season diseases and Dengue fever
o The school bus is waiting in a few bus stop (houses of the children) more than 10
minutes for one child, it is clearly informed to the parents that due to this other
children are suffering, so they are guided to bring their children on time
o Pavithra grandfather is not able to give clear information about the long absence, so
we informed that during next meeting the Mother or Father need to attend
o We request all the parents should compulsory attend the 3 month once children
development assessment
o We inform to parent about Mr. Alex, KDM, visit our center end of this month
Staffs meetings:
The staffs are informed to help the parent to enrol the UDID Online registration, out of 45
children 29 children UDID Enrolment is completed. The staffs are instructed to follow the
other children enrolment to complete it.

Medical camp:
The periodical General medical assessment camp took place on 8th
September, The medical
camp is conducted by the Doctor of Govrement Hospital, Alaurpet, and Totally 38 children
are taken for the assessment. We took the all children to the Goverment Hospital, Avalurpet.
The children are assessed, a some of the children are diagnosed to have cold and fever,
During the assessment Hospital staff provided Nilavembu Kudineer to all children, The
government hospital provided free basic medicine to our HLC children

3 month Evaluation:
September month managing trustee check the all the children Quarterly evaluation seems not
satisfactory, so he informed to make the assessment (re asses) again for all the primary and
pre-primary children goals need to make and get approval from the Managing Trustee.
Q-Brik CSR activity:
Morning Mr.basker and team staff arrived HLC center, we have interaction and explain our
center activity to all the staff, what are work done, reason for the project, cause of the birth,
and how many village coverage, what type of the support we provided to the children, day to
day activity explained to Q Brik staffs and what are the problem facing our centre (financial,
parents and professional staff) share to the team, we request ask support to the staff’s to
continue their support to our needy children
After the discussion they are visit each class and see the relevant document for the
assessment and evaluation can be show to the team,
Finally expect CSR donation the staffs all are collectively donated Rs 20,000/- towards HLC
Field visit
On 12th
august in our staff visited following children house Kundhalampattu vignesh : to
know the reason for the long absence, Avalurpet N. Tamil regular visit, Vadukapundi :
logeshwaran and gowtham to know the reason for the long absence. On 9th
September our
staff visited following children suresh, vingesh, kudhalampattu village, Prakash, Gowtham,
Logeshwaran, Periyasamy, prosothaman, vadukapoondi village, N.Tamil from avalurpet
village
Sports meet:
Our children participated in the District level sports meet conducted in the Ramakrishna
Higher Secondary school on 29th
October. In this sport meet 7 Special school children from
villupuram district are took part. Our children 16 are participated in this event. The staff’s
and Alex are accompanied the children.
The events took place are – standing jump, Running Race (50m and 100Mt), Cricket ball
throw, and group game conducted. Our children participated in all the games and they are 9
prizes and metals.
Rainbow Life Children Home Diwali
The festival gives happiness to the children; particularly Diwali makes them very happy
because this festival gives them new dress, crackers, special food and many others.
Each child received new dress along with one box of crakers, also we make spl sweet for
them for the diwali celebration, The children felt very happy to have their dress according to
their selection.
The children are enjoyed the crackers, the hole day the fired the sound crackers, during the
evening the lightened the sparkling and colourful fireworks.

Hariksha adult MR women’s home our staff will help to register our women’s UDID card
online, during registration we collected all the needed information form parent (Family card,
addhar card, id proof, photos and signature) totally 15 women’s register the UDID site

august we appointed two (Arshitha, Priya) spl educator for our hariksha MR adult home
to take care of the women’s education as well as the vocation activity, end of the august one
of the spl educator Arshitha resigned the job and Priya resignation the job on 26th

Medical Treatment

august santhana knee pain and fever treated with suriya hospital – gingee
24th
September sownthariya had fever and epilepsy problem, we share to the message to the
parents, Brother come pick up the sownthariya and provided needed medical treatment to her

October Seetha had epilepsy problem and we inform to mother and bring to the gingee
government hospital the doctor check the fits tablets, the doctor advice to us and mother to
increase the dosage because at percent using the dosage not enough so check once aging
Villupuram hospital to increase the dosage
As guided by the State Government, to prevent the seasonable sicknesses, the herbal health
drink (Nila Vembu Kasayam) is provided to all the women’s August to October.
Vocational Training
August to October month women’s are doing flower garlic, paper ear ring, handmade wall
hangers training going on every day afternoon with help of vocational teachers. Also every
day morning the Special educator contacted the ADL and skill training, painting and Drawing
activity given to the women’s regularly
Diwali celebration:
The Diwali in the Adult Girls Home Gingee is celebrated with great joy. All the girls are
provided with new dresses with the support of Q-Brik – Chennai CSR team members visited
in our centre on 7th
October they provided new dress for all women and they staffs spend time
with our women’s.
Rainbow children also interact with Q – Brik staff and the staff can play with children.
Maintenance
Hariksha women’s home toilet gets block and we invite the mechanic do the repair work
completed on 20.08.17.
