WELCOME TO HARVEST BIBLE COLLEGE Let us take this opportunity to welcome you to what will to be the most exciting journey into the depths of Christianity. Whether you are a Christian that's looking to learn more or you believe that God has called you to serve in a servant leadership capacity in the Kingdom, HBC is for you. HBC is committed to excellence and every course has been designed to challenge you to grow in every area of your life. Again, welcome! Taking Over,

Bishop Foreman Founder & Chancellor

What is Harvest Bible College?

HBC is a nondenominational, Charismatic (Spiritfilled), Christian Bible College that offers Biblically based, theological, Associate through Doctorate level degrees. HBC was birthed in 2008 out of a passion in Bishop Foreman to see Christians equipped to change the world and fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ through receiving quality education and impartation. God is raising up well learned leaders that are empowered by the Spirit to be on the front lines of twentyfirst century ministry. HBC is for Christians looking to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ and for those looking for advanced Biblical and practical ministry training. HBC is not a degree mill and any degree granted by HBC must be earned with the exception of our honorary degrees in which we will indicate their honorary status.

What is our Mission?

The mission of HBC is found in the heart of Jesus' Great Commission found in Matthew 28:1920. Our mission is to equip the next generation of leadership in the Body of Christ.

Why did Bishop Foreman start HBC?

God directed Bishop Foreman to start Harvest Bible College to train & equip believers for the work of the ministry after years of seeing people placed in leadership roles without the proper knowledge or understanding to effectively teach nor lead people. Gifted as an apostle, Bishop Foreman is committed to fulfilling the instructions the

Apostle Paul gave to his spiritual son Timothy when he said, “commit these things to faithful men (and women) that are able to teach others.” HBC is about raising a mighty army of history makers and world changers. The Scripture teaches that “the Kingdom suffers violence, but violent men (and women) take it by force.” HBC is committed to preparing servant leaders that influence business, government, arts & entertainment, church/spirituality, family, education, and media. Preparation is never a waste of time. David was not experienced in fighting giants, but the lion and the bear prepared him. Recent statistics suggest that eighty percent of leaders drop out of the ministry and eighty percent of those who stay are on the verge of giving up and we believe that the lack of preparation is a leading cause. Harvest Bible College may not be the best fit for those that want to passively sit back and take sides with antiquated religious rhetoric, but is perfect for those that want to see lives changed forever for God’s glory.

HBC CATALOG UPDATE DISCLOSURE

Harvest Bible College reserves the right to make changes with or without notice in its courses, faculty, procedures, costs, and anything else related to HBC or contained herein at any time as it deems necessary. To provide the latest information available to our students, changes to this catalog will be made available on our website.

STATEMENT OF BELIEFS

In essential beliefs we have unity, in nonessential beliefs we have liberty, and in all of our beliefs we show love!!

Charismatic: We are Charismatic because we believe in the gifts and in the

baptism of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2, 1st Corinthians 12,14). Kingdom: We are a Kingdom church because we are Kings & Priests furthering

the influence of Christ in the earth, in Arts & Entertainment, Business, Education, Family, Spirituality, Government, and Media according to (Isaiah 69).

NonDenominational: We are nondenominational because we’re not formally aligned with an established denomination (Ephesians 4:45).

Christians: We are Christians because we’re disciples of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28).

The Scriptures: We believe that the Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God and is inerrant in the original writings. The Bible being the revealed Word of God is the ground and foundation from which all claims of truth shall be sustained. The Word of God is alive! Through God’s sovereign hand, the Scriptures have

been preserved and are supreme and the final authority (Isaiah 55:11; 2nd Timothy 3:16.

God: We believe that there is only one true and living God existing in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4).

Jesus Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin named Mary, shed His blood on Calvary in our place, was buried, rose again, and ascended to the Father according to the Scriptures (John 1:14).

Man: We believe that man is the direct creation of God body, soul, and spirit. Therefore, man is not in any way a result of evolution, but is made in God’s image. The fall of Adam resulted in the fall of creation and mankind both physically and spiritually, thus the sacrifice of Christ was necessary (Genesis 1:26 27; Romans 3:10, 5:12, 8:18 23).

Salvation: We believe that all who, in faith, receive the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior are born again and thus become the children of God. (Ephesians 1:7; Romans 10:910; Romans 5:711; Colossians 1:1314, 2122; John 17:1622; 2nd Corinthians 5:17; 1st Corinthians 6:19).

The Priesthood of the Believer: We believe in the priesthood of each individual believer so that every Christian has direct, personal access to God through prayer. (1st Peter 2:9, 10; Hebrews 4:14 15, 5:2).

ACCREDITATION

Accreditation Defined (Source: Merriam Webster)

To “accredit” is to give official authorization to or approval of; to provide with credentials; to recognize or vouch for as conforming with a standard; to recognize as maintaining standards that qualify the graduates for admission to higher or more specialized institutions or for professional practice.

U.S. Department of Education (USDE) Accreditation

USDE accreditation is not necessary for the theological degrees in which we offer. Individuals seeking employment in government positions or licensed positions such as public school teachers, state licensed psychologists or psychiatrists, and counselors will more than likely need USDE accredited degrees. Generally speaking, most people working in ministry positions do not need a USDE accredited degree, but if you are pursuing education at Harvest Bible College with the intent of obtaining employment or for some other reason, you should check with that organization before applying for enrollment in Harvest Bible College to determine if they’ll accept your HBC degree.
