INSIDE THIS

ISSUE:

“6 For Europe!” “6 For Europe!”

Last May, we took part in the final meeting of our

Comenius Project which had been carried on by Ro-

mania, Greece, Turkey, Poland, Spain and Italy for 2

years.

During the our partnership, the teachers and the

students involved in the Pro-

ject learned about the legends

of other countries and tried to

understand differences and

similarities among them and

as a result, they came to

know each other in a deeper

and better way. We had the

opportunity of experiencing

our partners‟ way of life and

had a better understanding of

their culture.

We also learned about each country‟s school sys-

tem. It was interesting to compare the lifestyle and

daily routines of students from different nations.

Online blogs, power point presentations, and activities

we performed gave us the chance of comparing our

ways of life and we found more similarities than

differences with our friends from other countries. We

did all our activities in a very child friendly way

through games, songs, power point presentations,

videos, drama activities, online collaboration, etc.

Our students improved their English so much,

because they talked and talked on every topic without

worrying about grammar mistakes, and they learned

lots of things which they cannot find in the books with

a lot of laughing, dancing, singing, eating, playing, and

just being together.

We also had other topics like ICT and environmental

problems. Each school had to do its best to show the

environmental problems in their homeland and find

solutions. We focused on recy-

cling and prepared brochures on

preventing pollution by reducing,

reusing, recycling, and during

our activities we performed,

both the teachers and the stu-

dents used ICT tools efficiently,

thus, they improved the quality

of teaching-learning process.

In the last meeting in Roma-

nia, each country chose a leg-

end, a cloth, a song, a recipe

which might have been regarded as the country‟s best

description. We put all the things we collected during

our partnership in a saucepan and prepared a delicious

recipe named “European Journey through Legends”

which will be impossible to forget the delicious flavor of

it. I think everybody liked it so much that they couldn‟t

help asking for another plate. (You can find the recipe

below).

Although our Project came to an end, we all decided

to keep in touch, because we have become a very good

team. The sharing of ideas and experience has enriched

us personally and professionally. I would like to thank all

the participants of our Comenius Project for all the pre-

cious moments we shared together.

♥ Romania ♥ Before leaving I didn't think that this expe-

rience would be so beautiful and fantastic!

The Romanian people were very kind,

funny and hospitable. The guys of other

countries were very good and nice and

they speak English very well !

I met some fantastic people, and now i

miss them very much, because in only one

week they were able to amuse me so

much. Thanks to them I immediately felt

at ease. I liked all the things we did to-

gether very much, and I hope that one

day I can go back to Romania.

I have many beautiful memories of this

experience that will remain forever in my

heart! Thanks to this project I learned

new words and new habits, I tried new

things and I also learned some Romanian

words!

ROMENIUS WILL BE IN MY HEART

I was sure that it would be a good experience months

before we went. Although we had to travel for a long

time, I waited patiently because I knew that at the end of

the travel everything would be perfect.

When we came together at school, everybody was

really friendly and I understood that I will have a good

time with my new friend. I like meeting new people,

especially if they are from different countries, because in

this way I can learn about different cultures and their

way of living, furthermore I get a chance to improve my

English by having fun. Comenius people are all crazy.

First day at school I

was hungry and I ate

cake, but I couldn’t

finish it and I started to

play with it, then I

threw it to someone’s

face and this started a

cake war. I couldn’t

imagine that a war

could be so funny be-

fore.

My host family was

also very nice to me.

Because I don’t eat

pork meat, they pre-

pared something

special for me. They were really kind.

The second day was a little bit tiring, but the hotel

was comfortable, so we easily forgot about our

tiredness.

I saw many interesting things all the week and

had a really good time there, everything was so

nice.

I want to thank to everybody giving us this op-

portunity, it will be a lifelong memory for me and I

hope we will see each other again.

I spent great time in Romania, I can say that people are friendly at least the

people whom I met. The first days were hard because we had to climb

mountains and walk a lot, but it was very interesting, we saw the beautiful

landscape and a reality completely different from ours. Then we stayed in

Pecica, a little town inside the city of Arad.

I lived in a house with four very

kind people and I miss them so

much. The food in Romania was

tasty, but I ate soup a lot of

times, it was good, but after 3 or

4 days I started to hate it. I

learned some Romanian words

too, it wasn't difficult because

the Romanian language is simi-

lar to Italian.

At last I can say that Romania is

very beautiful and my wish is to

return there and I hope to meet

all these windly people again.

This week was amazing, I‟ll never forget the emotions I had when I

meet the others or the joy inside my heart when I saw the kids that I

known from the journey in Greece. I must say that they were all great,

each one of them had something special, something unique, maybe

that‟s why this week made us to be like a family.

We had to prepare ourselves for the rest 5 countries to have a good

time here, in Pecica. We decorated a classroom with paintings, souve-

nirs, photos, legends from the other countries and we made a corner

for each one of them. In that room we welcomed them, after they

tasted our bread, and we singed some songs (honestly we singed awful

but let‟s say it was from the emotions). I likes the happiness of the

kids and teachers when they received the hand-made t-shirts, brace-

lets, earrings (I hope that every time they will wear it, they will remem-

ber us).

I loved the time when we

had to paint the walls and

then to make a story about

what we draw and after that

to paint ourselves (I think

that our mothers didn‟t liked

that so much). Some of us

ended the day with a cake in

the face (Panos), some of

them were happy just to

take some pictures and to

say what they expect from

this week.

The next 2 days the oth-

ers went to the mountains. I

heard that the views and caves were awesome but the

walking part it was tiring, but you know how they say

“walking makes beautiful legs”.

We started the next day all together with the Span-

ish team, it was so great to be all together (they are

all "guapos"-beautiful). After we were separated into

groups we went for treasure haunting, we singed

songs, answered questions, received candies, langoș-

pie and a horse carriage ride. Then the hard part

came: the walk to the Bezdin‟s Monastery because it

was too hot outside (I guess the sun affected Dimitris

and Evi because they started to do like some crazy

chickens but Onur likes chickens, so…) and it had a

good part, we got some tan now (me and Jacopo) even if it‟s not

uniformed.

After the walk to the Monastery, when we came back we had the

opportunity to make some barbeque. After we ate we started to

dance with our dance teacher (Eirini), we started to play some games

with the help of Rafaella and Aggelos.

Thursday we started the rehearsals, it was a bit difficult because

nobody knew their lines and we had to distribute scripts for each one

of us. The fun started when we went to play paintball in the forest

(our team won, of course thanks to our team leader Christos and to

Guillem who took the flag). When we were playing and doing pictures,

the problem appeared: we had to stay there until the military training

was over, of course the kids saved the situation: Dora started to do a

dance, Ibrahim was playing a painful game with the others, and then

we started to make rain, and it worked,

that‟s why we all went and danced in the

rain.

Friday was a stressful day because we

had to do a perfect rehearsal and we

didn‟t knew the lines and songs so well,

but let‟s forget about this, our free time

with the kids in

Arad was perfect

(we went to buy

some gifts, and I

noticed that the

Italian girls Cecilia

bu t e spec ia l l y

Jessica are a bit

shopaholic, Jessi

bought 10 pre-

s e n t s . . . m a y b e

more). When we

returned home we

had to go in the

park to rehearsal

again but it ended

soon. Finally Saturday, it was a weird day, the show wasn‟t so good,

we forgot our lines, we looked at each other wondering who‟s

next? , but Ola always saved the situation saying her favorite line:

"GREAAATTT!"... The end of the show was full of tears, we saw

some videos and we realized that in this week we became more

like brothers and sisters and that this is the end of this beautiful

project that didn‟t only helped us to improve our skills or finding

something new about other countries but it gave us some friends for

life.

We have a family in every country and that‟s why we can‟t be so far

as we think, we will always be close, and every Comenius people will

always be in my heart and we will see each other again. That‟s why

we are thinking about The Romenius Reunion (thanks to Michaela).

Romenius - a Polish point of view

Trips

We meet in front of school and we went

by coach to the Apuseni Mountains. The

journey lasted 6 hours. When we got to the

hotel, we were amused with this place.

We ate tasty lunch. Then we were walking

through the mountains for a long time. We

saw many beautiful views. Everything around

us was green. We breathed with fresh air.

Finally, we reached the Glacier of

Scărișoara's, where it was very cold. It was

surprising to see the snow and ice in the

middle of spring. The way back to the hotel

was tiring but we had a great time.

The next day we visited the Ruginoasa Hole.

It was the most magnificent place I have ever

seen!

Then we return to the hotel to eat lunch and

we packed our suitcases. With all our bags,

the Comenius group set off to the Bears

Cave from Chișcău. At the end of the cave

there was a skeleton of bear which is said to

live there. Some people claimed that this

skeleton wasn't realistic.

It was the last point of our trip. Uppps! I

forgot about the Ethnographic Museum from

Chișcău!

Romanian people

During our staying in Romania, we met a lot of

interesting people. They are very nice and open

-minded. They are also helpful and they accept

people of other cultures. They are trying to

spend with their family and friends as much

time as it's possible for them. They are hospi-

table to all the other nations. They helped us

feel like at home during our staying in Roma-

nia. Now they are for us like our second family

and we will never forgot them.

Performance

From Thursday to Saturday we were spending

almost all the day on preparation for the show.

The performance was about the characters of

all legends that came to our world. We spent a

lot of time on the rehearsals, but at the end it

was great! Each country wore special T-shirt

color and sang a famous song from another

country.

In the time during the show there was a film

about all the previous visits to the other coun-

tries and special film, which showed how much

we thanked to the teachers.

Hello party

On the day of the arrival of the guests we were

all welcomed in a traditional Romanian way.

The teachers from all countries were welcomed

by the children clapping their hands.

Then everyone, before entering the school's

building, had to take a piece of bread from

children in traditional clothes, put it in salt and

eat it.

At school, people from Romania sang a song

and everyone got a plan and we were listening

to interesting things about Romania.

Goodbye party

After the end of the performance we ate cook-

ies and drank some coke. We were watching a

presentation about the visit to the other coun-

tries. Everyone was crying so deeply and there

were lots of hugs and kisses. Then we were

signing Romanian flags and T-shirts, that we

wore during the performance.

Free time

Despite we didn‟t have a lot of free time, we

had many parties. The first meeting was late

at night in the park where we got to know

each other more. When the Spanish people

came to Pecica, we had a barbecue party at

the bank of the river.

The next day we were at the party in the bar

where we danced all night. Last and the big-

gest party was in Monika‟s house. During the

party we said “goodbye” to the Greek team.

On Sunday, we spent free time in Agnieszka‟s

house with the Turkish people. Our free time

we tried to spend all together by walking and

being in restaurant.

Food

Romanian food is similar to the Polish one.

Romanian people eat so many dishes every

day. Every dinner consists of soup, the second

course and dessert. They don‟t eat normal

potatoes, but only purée. Romanian people eat

so much salad, even at breakfast. As their

traditional food they have something like Polish

“gołąbki” but there is more meat inside cab-

bage and they eat it with sour cream. They

eat much meat and other fatty things. They

usually drink fizzy beverages. It was very

difficult to get natural water. Romanian people

don‟t drink black tea, only fruit and green tea.

Food was good but not everyone liked it.

In the morning we had to go to the school for the meeting. As soon as everyone came…we set of for the amazing

Ice Cave up in the mountains. Proximately at noon we arrived at the hotel we booked (great hotel) and after lunch

we prepared for the journey! As soon as we arrived in the mountain, everyone seem to enjoy it because the scen-

ery was spectacular. After a four hours hiking we reached the Ice Cave exhausted and thirsty! The Cave was won-

derful and so was the time we had there!

After a half hour we began to descend from the mountain in order to return to the hotel. In the meantime all of us

were full of pictures, sounds, beautiful thing, strong feelings and lot of fun! In the hotel we ate some amazing tra-

ditional Romanian food and desert and after that we all had the best time of our lives. That’s because, we had an

awesome day with our friends, the new and the old, and of course because we were in a new country that had so

much to offer.

At night all the CO-ROMENIUS children gathered in groups in the rooms and had fun for a long time!!!!!!!!

That day was one of the best in the Romenius program.

And of course…the entire ROMENIUS program was GREAT!!! Dimitris (Greece),

Thank you Comenius!

I think that the project of Comenius was a won-

derful experience for me because I have grown as

a person, I had to speak in English, I discovered

new cultures, new lifestyles, new places and new

people who were really nice towards me, moreo-

ver the family who gave hospitality to me was

very comprehensive with me.

I'd like to return to my host family because I did-

n't have much time to know them, because we

were always outside for the project activities. I

hope that in the next future the group of Comeni-

Moreover, in the Italian education

system, there is one more year than in

Greece. Also, we were informed that it is

quite easy to get in the university but only

Greece and Italy are both European

countries but although they are near

to each other, they have a lot of differ-

ences in their educational system, from

the school accommodation. So many

tings impressed me during my stay to

Italy.

To begin with, the first impression I

had when I first saw the school build-

ing in Reggio Emilia was that it was

very big, concerning the school in my

country. Also the sport accommoda-

tion was incredible, since it has 2 foot-

ball and one basketball pitches. Some-

thing else I noticed was that there

were many special laboratories for

instance, for chemistry, computers and

physics. Another thing was that stu-

dents there have more freedom and

that can be seen from the fact that

they are allowed to have wallpaper in

the walls of their favorite singer actor

or TV show.

Our visit in Pecica, within the aims of the

Comenius Program, was a very good

experience from many aspects.

1. The pupils had the opportunity to get

to know a foreign country, to associate

with the teachers and pupils of a model

school, as well as with teachers and pupils

of other expeditions, to learn the habits

and the hospitality of a Romanian family.

2. Teachers and students were given the

chance to be guided in the town of Pecica,

in a very clever way (the game-contest of

treasure hunting).

3. The cooperation between the teachers

was quite satisfying, considering the men-

tality and the different way of thinking of

the people.

4. The students ware very cooperated,

that shows how Comenius programs are

very important for the good communica-

tion between them and their teachers.

5. Overall I consider the whole organiza-

tion of the program was successful.

6. Everybody has to speak in English, so

you must to try to make others to under-

stand you..

I would especially like to stand on the very

beautiful days in „Apuseni Mountains‟.

1. Very difficult and tired days but the

visit of the Glacier of Scarisoara was

wonderful

2. The second day we visited the Bear‟s

Cave and Ruginoasa Hole the view from

there was breathtaking.

3. Impressive the expositions in Ethno-

graphic Museum with a valuable cultural

heritage.

4. Nice idea to sleep in the same room

with another teacher.

5. If I have the opportunity, I will do it

again.

Good things, positive things

I don‟t know how to start, maybe with the start like every story. Everything started 2 years ago

when my teacher said we are going to do a project together where will be involved 6 countries

and our country (Romania) will be the coordinator. I was thinking, to two years, are too many,

what shall we do in all this time? I though it will be to boring or to many stuff to do, and both of

them were in the project. The idea of this project was quite interesting and I was very happy that

we had this idea. Two years of my life I have spend in this project, and I feel great because not

everyone has this opportunity to take part of something special, of something you meet maybe

just once in your life, and many of us we never meet with a chance like this. I can say I was very

lucky to be in this project. This project was the best thing it happened to me and I will never

regret my time spent for the project.

I learned so many new things, now I can see the Europe with other eyes, I have improved my

English, I made new friends, I tried new things, I tasted new food, I learned about others cultures

right from the source. An experience that changed my life, made me to watch and know the life

from different points, and to thing that even if you are so different you are all the same. I never

though those two years can “fly” so easy when you are having a great time, and can end it so fast.

I wish we would have it for all the time. At some point I was very worried and I was thinking of all

the trips we will have in so many countries. We are so different and we have nothing in common,

but I have found in Italy, in the country I was, children, but not only children ,special people and

also friends, and friends for a lifetime .We were talking and having fun all the kids involved in the

project, we didn‟t care that we knew only for a day or a few hours, that we were from different

countries, we had different traditions, different in everything, but this was the idea of the project,

even if you are so different we are one team. Everyone worked in this project, even if someone

worked harder or not so much but everyone did the best, I am sure of that, we were like a piece

of cake, everyone had to put something in the cake to be great, but if you take on pieces it won‟t

be as good as you take the all cake. Even we were strangers we were talking like we knew for a

lifetime.

I don‟t like in this project that it came to the end, and made me cry, but I am sure I wasn‟t the

only one who cried. I want more of these magic times I had with those special persons. Yes, we

had lots of work and in some point I really wanted to quit, but if I have done it maybe I have had

regretted all my life, and so I am happy I didn‟t do it. The project was perfect from to reasons:

one and the most important: my teacher, CamyK, invented this project and she had the perfect

idea, and two: only the hard things are beautiful. Of course, everything what is perfect and the

best come to the end. The last time we meat in Romania, it was the best, because we had the

meeting here in my country. We prepared before they would have come, and in some point it was

too much but after we sow the results I was glad I worked so much. We knew something about

our program but not with the all the details and it was a surprise for us too. The first two days we

spend in our beautiful mountains and we had the best days, even we had to walk for 20 km, for

me it wasn‟t a problem, but for the others it really was. I really liked that we had a great party

and we were all together, the food was more then excellent. It was very weird when classmates of

mine get lost in the mountains and it was raining and it was dark, it was like we were in some

scary movie, but this was reality, good for her we found her in time. I didn‟t like that we had to

travel by bus for 4 hours, it was too much in one day, the rest was perfect. The next days we tried

to do some traditional stuffs like a Romanian barbeque, walking through forest and playing paint-

ball, the best game from now days, visiting the Monastery, and shopping in Arad. My best part of

the all program it was the show where we had to put the all famous legends from each 6 coun-

tries in scenes with songs and dances. I was really nervous but I got courage and then it was

great. In the last night we had a party with all the people from Comenius, and it was the hardest

night because we had to separate and everyone went home in their countries , it was really said to

see them leaving after we had such a great time together.

Life is a journey, depends of you if you make it to be great or worse, but this experience changed

my life in a positive way, I can see things different, I can see the life in different ways. Maybe I can

write you pages to tell everything what I felt in this two years but not even then you will not under-

stand 100 % unless you were there with the all team. Even if we are so different we are united

and we are the same team, it wasn‟t just a project, we were also friends too. What‟s the best

feeling you can have about this project? The words can not explain. What can it be nicer then to

This week was amazing, I‟ll never forget the emotions I had when I

meet the others or the joy inside my heart when I saw the kids that I

known from the journey in Greece. I must say that they were all

great, each one of them had something special, something unique,

maybe that‟s why this week made us to be like a family. We had to

prepare ourselves for the rest 5 countries to have a good time here,

in Pecica. We decorated a classroom with paintings, souvenirs, pho-

tos, legends from the other countries and we made a corner for each

one of them.

In that room we welcomed them, after they tasted our bread, and we

singed some songs (honestly we singed awful but let‟s say it was from

the emotions). I likes the happiness of the kids and teachers when

they received the hand-made t-shirts, bracelets, earrings (I hope that

every time they will wear it, they will remember us). I loved the time

when we had to paint the walls and then to make a story about what

we draw and after that to paint ourselves (I think that our mothers

didn‟t liked that so much). Some of us ended the day with a cake in

the face (Panos), some of them were happy just to take some pic-

tures and to say what they expect from this week.

The next 2 days the others went to the mountains. I heard that the

views and caves were awesome but the walking part it was tiring, but

you know how they say “walking makes beautiful legs”. We started

the next day all together with the Spanish team, it was so great to be

all together (they are all "guapos"-beautiful). After we were separated

into groups we went for treasure hunting, we singed songs, answered

questions, received candies, langoș-pie and a horse carriage ride.

Then the hard part came: the walk to the Bezdin‟s Monastery be-

cause it was too hot outside (I guess the sun affected Dimitris and

Evi because they started to do like some crazy chickens but Onur

likes chickens, so…) and it had a good part, we got some tan now

Romenius - the week that we will never forget

(me and Jacopo) even if it‟s not uniformed. After the walk to the Monas-

tery, when we came back we had the opportunity to make some barbe-

cue. After we ate we started to dance with our dance teacher (Eirini), we

started to play some games with the help of Rafaella and Aggelos.

Thursday we started the rehearsals, it was a bit difficult because nobody

knew their lines and we had to distribute scripts for each one of us. The

fun started when we went to play paintball in the forest (our team won, of

course thanks to our team leader Christos and to Guillem who took the

flag). When we were playing and doing pictures, the problem appeared:

we had to stay there until the military training was over, of course the kids

saved the situation: Dora started to do a dance, Ibrahim was playing a

painful game with the others, and then we started to make rain, and it

worked, that‟s why we all went and danced in the rain.

Friday was a stressful day because we had to do a perfect rehearsal and

we didn‟t knew the lines and songs so well, but let‟s forget about this, our

free time with the kids in Arad was perfect (we went to buy some gifts,

and I noticed that the Italian girls Cecilia but especially Jessica are a bit

shopaholic, Jessi bought 10 presents...maybe more). When we returned

home we had to go in the park to rehearsal again but it ended soon.

Finally Saturday, it was a weird day, the show wasn‟t so good, we forgot

our lines, we looked at each other wondering who‟s next? , but Ola always

saved the situation saying her favorite line: "GREAAATTT!"... The end of

the show was full of tears, we saw some videos and we realized that in

this week we became more like brothers and sisters and that this is the

end of this beautiful project that didn‟t only helped us to improve our skills

or finding something new about other countries but it gave us some

friends for life.

We have a family in every country and that‟s why we can‟t be so far as we

think, we will always be close, and every Comenius people will always be in

my heart and we will see each other again. That‟s why we are thinking

about The Romenius Reunion (thanks to Michaela). ^-^

Christine, Romania

I can describe this Romenius week in

just 1 word: fabulous. I could not wait

for them to come, I just count the days

that remained, I was very exited and I

kept thinking about the activities. It was

great to meet the kids who came to

Romania; because they are great and we

had so much fun with them. I was so

happy when I heard that I will host a

boy from Greece (Angellos).I really

enjoyed the activities in the first night.

We had to paint the school walls but

then it turned out to be a paint war.

After that we ate and it was great be-

cause all of our moms prepared deli-

cious food. I was happy that we had the

chance to know each other better.

I think they had fun climbing the

mountain in Arieseni and exploring the

Scarisoara Cave. We also took a green

trip, to Bezdin Monastery which was

truly impressive and I was amazed to

find out how much we know about our

My impressions after "Romenius"

town. After a tiring walk we arrived at

the monastery and it was super to relax

and to feel close to nature. After we left

the monastery we went close to the

Mures River and we had a barbecue

party to celebrate our green spirit. In

the next days we were doing rehearsals

for our Comenius show. In the morning

we were at the Cultural center rehears-

ing for the show and in the afternoon

we had many activities. I loved the way

all the teachers were involved in this

project and how unite we were on the

stage.

The day of the show arrived and we

made rehearsals from 9 to 16 so we

were tired but it was fun. All of our

parents came to see us and to cheer for

us .Unfortunately we forgot our lines

and we messed up some scenes. We

singed and danced on the scene and it

was super, we felt so good but after that

we remembered that it was the final day

and we started crying like babies.

I loved this week with them, I can say

it was the best time of my life and I really

want to see them again I loved the way

we laugh about anything, the way that

people are, they are great. You don’t find

good friends everyday, these kids are one

in a million, and they are special. I LOVE

YOU GUYS!! I didn’t like that the sched-

ule was so stressful, and we didn’t had

time to know better with the kids we

hosted. I didn’t like that we had to walk

so much and everything was in a hurry.

But it turned out to be a perfect week.

Dear Comenius Diary,

I know I haven't spoken to you almost for two years so I apologise. Now hear what happened during my visit in Romania.

2nd of May The Greek group finally arrived after a long train trip in Pecica. We experienced a warm welcome by all the families who were waiting for us in front of the school. And of course it was about time to meet my lovely hostess Cristina and see again my favourite Polish girl, Ola who was staying with me. At home, apart from Kriky's mum a traditional Romanian lunch was anxiously waiting for us. During the meal Ola and I discovered that in Romania they drink only sparkling water ("with gaz") and that was quite a shock. By the time we settled down we had to be at school for the official welcome. There we took part in some outdoor activities including wall painting and fire session where everyone expressed his expec-tations for the Romenius meeting. Afterward we had a party in the school. It was great seeing all of our friends from Romania again and mostly meeting our new ones. It was also unforgettable the cake fight we started.

3rd of May We all gathered early in the morning in front of "Gheorghe Lazăr" and started a two-day trip in the Apuseni mountains. After four ours full of sleeping, laughing, and car-sick symptoms we arrived at the hotel in Vartop. We had lunch and next we started a long walking trip "back to Iceage". Hundreds of trees and tones of sweat later we found ourselves going downstairs to the cave of Scărișoara's glacier. The iced and cold scenery really amazed us. We returned back to the hotel quite tired and exhausted but this didn't stop us for having a whale of a time all together.

4th of May Waking up by the sounds of the birds made us realize that another day of walking had began. A few miles out of Vârtop we found out a heaven on earth as Camy said. Ruginoasa's hole was one of the most strange and magnificent things we've ever seen. The view up there is breathtaking. So, after taking a lot of funny pho-tos, we returned to the hotel and then we started a trip back to Pecica. In the middle of the way we made two stops. At the first, we were toured in the Bear's Cave and saw the skeleton of a pre-historic bear and many "candies" as well. The second one was at a folklore museum where we couldn't resist doing our Greek things like acting as turkeys and chasing poor chickens . By the time we were in Pecica we all had come very close like a big family.

5th of May Xavi arrived at last  (that explains everything!). We all gath-ered once again at the school where we were separated in 6 teams: Serallonga, Boruta, Dracula, Matilda, Zeus, Zeugma (especially the last one rocks!!!). After this we started discovering Pecica's "treasures" meaning the most well known buildings of the town. The most you knew about a building the best candies your team would win. It was quite a challenge! At noon we visited the Mayor at his office who surprised us by offering a small tour on a carriage. Two "langoș" (thank you Claudiu's mum, they were deli-cious) and a few glasses of orange juice later -Cocaman had drunk all the cola so we had to compromise- we started doing guess what? Of course. Walking again (!) in order to get to a monastery by Mureș river. On our way back we stopped near to the banks of Mureș for an "Outdoor traditional Romanian barbecue party" as the program said. None of us could imagine what this really was about. We had to collect wood so as to make a fire and then make our own sticks for the barbecue. We were relieved when we found out that we didn't have to hunt our meals since our Romanian families had already brought us the food. Baking the food was much more fun because we had no idea what we were doing so

we ended up dancing and playing group games. No matter what it was a lifetime experience!!! At night we went at a restaurant where we had a ball since we got to know each other better and did some of our crazy things again. Our last stop for the day was Pecica's playground where we acted like we are 5 years old children until the police came to announce us that it is forbidden to enter that area if you are older than 14 years old.

6th of May We spent most of the day at the cultural center preparing the final show. The day included hilarious casting and script readings. In the afternoon we went for a paintball competition. We were separated in groups of two teams and each team had five members. I enjoyed the whole experience a lot but mostly the instructions before the game. Unfortunately, when the last group was about to begin fighting it started pouring down with rain. The Greeks of course didn't miss the chance to give an alternative solution to the problem once more so we went out in the rain and started singing and dancing and as it was natural everyone else followed. After some technical problems with the cooking and Dora's "naughty" dancing we were able to have din-ner. But then the army arrived  ! Believe it or not they had an emergency exercise at the area we were so we left as fast as we could. At night we experienced Pecica's night life as we threw a fare-well party for Evi and Dora who were leaving the following day :(( . Three hours dancing and singing later we were sure that the girls had a night they'll always remember.

7th of May I can't recall something else from that day but REHEARSALS. We learned our lines by heart -at least we tried- and we picked up some songs from other countries. It's hard to forget the rhythm of "Romagna, Romagna in fiore" or "Beni mecnun ettin". And of course the one and only "Alcohol, alcohol, alcohol..." oops... Wrong song

sorry! I meant "Bon dia, ningu m'ho ha demanat pero fa bon dia". Now, enough with the sing-ing let's get back to what hap-pened. At noon we visited Arad which is a very beautiful city and we had some free time at the mall. We explored all the stores

there but the Mexican restaurant really stole our hearts. When we returned back in Pecica we rehearsed once more the entire play in a small alley. During the night most of us gathered at a restaurant where we had pizza and great time and many funny memories.

8th of May It was our last day in Pecica. We didn't stop practicing and making preparations only by the time the show began... And I have to admit that despite the misfortunes -wrong videos (Camy we still love you), wrong lines, big pauses- it was an amazing show. As long as it had finished, we all ended up crying because we realised that Comenius was over...We spent the following 2 hours writing stuff to each other on notepads, flags even on a sleeping sheet. We also said goodbye to the teachers and thanked them for giving us the opportunity to partic-ipate in the program. After this, a farewell party was held at Anette's since most of the teams would leave the next day including the Greeks. At the party we all had so much fun and spent our last hours in Romania with memories that we will all remember except from Ibo. When it was time to go I was emotionally confused of what was hap-pening. From one hand I was very sad :((( I was leaving from a country I truly loved and my new life-long friends and on the other hand I had so amazing memories from these days :-) . However the bus didn't wait for me to decide and we said goodbye the Greek way... by danc-ing. All in all it's impossible to forget this Romenius week and I'll keep all the memories in my heart forever... I hope we'll have the chance to meet again someday because I really miss you all!!!

Our hosting school of Pecica, Romania

The name of the school is "Gheorghe Lazăr". Gheorghe

Lazăr was a religion teacher. It was built in 1956.It is a

public school and students don’t have to pay. It has (more

than) 28 teachers , it is equipped with 3 classrooms for the

computer lesson, a football and a basketball court. Also

there are other classrooms for chemistry, physics, and one

is specially for the Comenius program. The number of the

students is 1105 and they have 13 grades and each grade

has a different daily school program. Generally, they have

18 lessons: mathematics, Romanian, French, Psy-

chology, English, religion, geography, specialty,

physics, biology, chemistry, information, history,

physical education, entrepreneur education and

economy. They have about 20 tests in a year and

most of the children are not disappointed for the

educational system. Those two elements made an

impression on me because they are totally differ-

ent here in Greece. I found also beautiful the idea

of those huge photo collections on the walls from

classes of former years.

I still have questions about the number of the

students regarding the size of the school but that

is something not really important.

What I consider important is the atmosphere of a

school of one small town that was the center of

life there. That is what I felt and liked a lot. Final-

ly , I would like to mention that I was impressed

from the after school orientation of the children

who differed from the Greek one. I will keep my

memories from Gheorghe Lazăr for the rest of my

life.

My Comenius in Romania

Nearly 60 students and teachers from 6 partner countries of our Project

spent a week in Romania together. I hadn’t been in a different country

before. This was my first experience and I will never forget Comenius.

Thanks to Comenius I could see a different country and meet different

people.

Our host family was also very kind to us; we had a chance to know

Romanian people and their customs by living with them as a member of

the family. If had stayed at the hotel, we couldn’t have experienced this.

During our staying we visited many places in Pecica and Arad. Pecica is

so different from my city. There are just buildings in my city, so I was

really surprised when I saw how green is Pecica (actually all Romania)

During our staying we had 2 days trip to Apuseni Mountain, it was really

nice but also tiring, because we had to walk for a long time. But I think it

wasn't for nothing, because the scenery from the mountains was beautiful

and I saw so many interesting things. The ice cave especially was awe-

some. I liked that place. The other day we had to walk again and I must

confess it was too much form me. The weather was hot and we walked

too much. I don't like walking anymore :D

Anette's restaurant was so nice. I liked that restaurant. We had a lot of

fun there. Arad was very nice, too. I liked the buildings. The buildings

were interesting and the streets were large. I feel really privileged to have

had this opportunity and want to thank the school and the teachers for

giving us this chance. To be given the opportunity to visit and experience

such a culturally different part of the world has broadened our knowledge

and understanding of life outside Gaziantep. I hope I can see my friends

again and our friendship will last forever.

Romanian Legends, Myths or Stories

The family Flutur, Aurel and his wife Lucreția, simple but warm hearted peas-ants of Chișcău leave behind them a valuable cultural heritage, one of the larg-est private collection of ethnography in the country which does credits to the community and site host. The village , that crosses Crăiasa (Prices fairy) hill, is located in the picturesque depression of Beiuș, in the foothill of Bihor Mountains

in the south eastern part of Bihor county (west side of Romania). Aurel Flutur's passion of collecting objects began in 1968. Nowadays, the collection has over 2500 objects and it is arranged in a peasant farm built in the second half of the twentieth century, that was acquired by the Flutur family in 1981. There, we have the opportunity to find occupations practiced in rural areas through agricultural machines, tools, presses for grapes, pin, hive, leathers shoemakers, coopers, mining. There are also presented industrial objects, the master piece being a locomobile, dating from 1907. There are also illustrated home occupa-tions (instruments used in cooking, wooden spoons, various objects used in textiles processing, and clothing manufacturing, distaff, scrubbers, combs, hemp, loom) , folk costumes. The exhibition space includes various rooms that reconstructs traditional interiors from the area , an old classroom where there is a wooden school bad made by Flutur's father, the first collected object by him. A room is dedicated to the memory of the family where there are exhibited vintage photos with family ancestors, objects belonging to Ioan Ga-bor the outlaw (1860-1913), Lucreția's grandfather ... one of the last outlaws of Bihor Mountains, whom the elders called Oneață. The exhibition also present some aspects of religious beliefs and people's lives from the village, a stone altar table dating from 1807, trinities, wooden crosses and a small collection of history composed of lances and spears from the Mid-dle Ages, Also military objects of modern and contemporary époque: helmets, suitcases, prosthesis for the war. The trail ends with a large hall which hosts a number of heterogeneous objects, bells, old phones sets and typewriting ma-chines, abacus, sewing machines, including a wooden one, sledges, decoratives yokes, plows, mills, mobile bread oven, a gypsy wagon and many more… Do not forget your past!"

True facts Mures is a river which crosses Romania and Hungary to finally drain into Tisa. It is 761 km long and more than 80% of it flows on Roma-nian territory. Some of the most important and beautiful spots located on the river Mures are: Arad, Lipova, Ocna Mures, Targu Mures, Reghin and Geoagiu Spa. Toplita is situated at the Mures and Toplita river junction and Alba Iulia, Deva and Aiud are situated on only one of the river banks. Olt is one of the most important rivers of Romania as there are almost 30 barrier lakes and reser-voirs built on it. It is 615 km long and drains into the Danube. Some of the most important localities to be crossed by this river are: Miercurea Ciuc, Sfantul Gheorghe, Fagaras, Ramnicu Valcea and the Spa resorts Caciulata and Calimanesti.

The legend Once upon the time, when the stories were reality, on the top of the Eastern Carpathians, there was a fortress with two towers. The prince and the princess had twins. The boys were alike; only their faces were, not their nature. They were fighting to blood from nothing. The boys grew. One day the prince went to a battle and didn't return. The princess sent messengers to find her husband. The truth was that the prince was dead ,but the princess didn't know this thing. "What am I going to do with my boys?" she said."They are fighting and fighting all over again. I built for them two different towers. In the northern one leaves. Mures and in the southwest leaves Olt. Soon they will have to marry, but still don't understand each other." "Olt, my brother", Mures said. "Mother is still crying after our dad. What are we going to do?" "Mures, my brother, let's forget our argues and let's go to find the prince. Maybe he's somewhere into some prison and he needs our help to rescue him." The twins went to their mother, the princess, and spoke to her about their decision. When she heard, she burst into tears. The queen did not know whether to be glad or sad about that decision: was she to be happy she had such brave and determined children

The legend of Rivers Mureș and Olt or should she fear they might be lost for good like her much beloved husband and king. She advised the two young men to stay together and not to argue with each other during that long and probably difficult quest as she knew they were very different and proud. She reminded the brothers they were much stronger together than divided. "OK, my boys", the princess said. "Go and find your dad. I advise you to stay together as horses on carriage". And the boys left. But as soon as they came out the fortress they were already arguing which way to go. "Let's go to the north", Mures said. "No, let's go to the south", Olt said. And, like in their childhood, they started to fight. "Because I grew into the northern tower, I will go in this direction", Mures said. "And I will go to the south", Olt said ," 'cause I grew into the south-west one." Like this, they separated each other. After a while Mures was think-ing: "With all our argues, we are still loving each other. Also our mother asked us not to separate. Can I find again my brother?" On a valley he turned to the south, but Olt wasn't anywhere. Mures was lost and went to the west through plains which were so beauti-ful that he forgot his brother. The princess found out what was hap-pened, and angry ran to return his sons, but never caught up them cause they were running as fast as their legs carried them. She was praying then: "Dear Lord, please take care of my sons. Make them immortals." God heard and transformed then the sons to immortals rivers. The paths they took down to the valley became their river beds. And rivers they are even today maintaining their names: MURES and OLT. Nowadays, in our places wandered by the Mures river, every children must know the tale of Mures and Olt rivers, being proud to leave such a wonderful place.

Romanian Legends, Myths or Stories

There are some countries without which the world would have a

completely different face from what we know.

We can easily imagine a world without the U.S., Britain, Italy, a

world without hamburgers, corporations, White House, Big Ben,

pasta, pizza, Tibetan rituals and we can enumerate many other

examples indefinitely.

But one question remains: how many of you have tried to think of

a world without Romania? For those of you who have not imag-

ined, I will describe how it would be shown.

First try to think that the only writing instrument is a pencil. Not

so convenient, isn’t it? In case you did not know, the fountain pen

was invented by Romanian Professor named Petrache Poenaru. His

invention was patented by the French Government in May 1827.

Dr. Stephen Odobleja, another illustrious Romanian scientist is

renowned as the “father of cybernetics“. Practically, he is the in-

ventor of the modern cybernetics. The inventor of insulin is Nicolae

Paulescu. Initially the invention was very controversial and merits

were awarded Canadians Banting and Macleod. At the award of

the Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine in 1923, Sjoquist, a

member of the Nobel Committee has recognized that the real dis-

coverer of the antidiabetic hormone produced by the pancreas,

called after insulin was academician Nicolae Constantin Paulescu.

One of the most revolutionary inventions of the twentieth centu-

ry, a century when the time was solving all problems was the jet

plane, invented by Henri Coanda, in 1910. Without him, the plane

would probably have been invented much later. A Romanian gym-

nast has provided computers the possibility to “learn” how to dis-

play a perfect 10. Nadia Comaneci won a gold medal at the 1976

Montreal Olympics.

Probably a long time

would have past until

someone may have

thought of writing a

complete history of

religions, if Mircea

Eliade had not done it.

All around the world

nobody had the courage

to laugh in the face of

death as we did, be-

cause we are the first

nation to have a happy

graveyard at Săpânța, in Maramureș County. But let’s proceed

with the presentation of the gates from Maramureș, which are

unique in the world for their architecture.

Nobody came to performance to defended four consecutive penal-

ties like goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam, in 1986, when Steaua

Bucharest won the Champions Cup.

Hey, Mr. Bill Gates! We want to congratulate you for being

among the richest people in the world, but if we think more you owe

as a lot. The second language spoken in your company is Romani-

an. Repeat after us: “Mulțumesc = Thank you”.

Pages of art books would have been fewer, if there was not Con-

stantin Brâncuși. His sculptures are considered the work of a great

artist, because of the materials of which worked.

In Romania there is the most beautiful color in the world. Alt-

hough Voroneț blue is a worldwide renowned, nobody has been

able to find the combining elements of the painting from Voroneț

Monastery. Another thing for which Americans should thank the

Romanians is their national sport, baseball. This is because the

Romanians are the ones who invented the sport, calling it Oina,

and being practiced for the first time in 1364.

Well, briefly, this is Romania!

The Romanian welcome with bread and salt

The bread and salt have a symbolic meaning: they comprise the Romanian way of saying, "welcome in my house". So, this is a Romanian welcome greeting ceremony, a traditional custom expressing hospitality, showing that the guest is welcomed. It is not commonly practiced during daily life. Often, besides bread and salt, Romanians offer also a glass with traditional home-made alcohol, țuica. Salt has been used in different ways since the beginning of civilization. Salt has been used by Romanians in different traditional rituals as a fortune teller or to protect people, animals and places, having a purifying role. Salt is used even today in other rituals at weddings or child birth to protect or to cleanse. Parts of the rituals have been changed or mod-ernized, some of the meanings have been lost, the roots being found only in remote villages or in the memories of some old storytellers.

The Bread of Pecica - a national brand

Have you notice the bread? If not, take a look : It's a very special bread. Why? Because ... it is the best Romanian bread baked on the Romanian traditional earth oven. The people from Pecica are known for wheat and bread. "Pecica" means in Slavic language, "oven", which shows that the people from these places put high value on wheat and the bread which comes out of it. The bread from Pecica is made, for decades, by the same secret recipes. Somebody tried to find some of the secrets of Pecica's bread, of course without any result because the people from Pecica not share the recipe with "non-s-of their" :) It's a very good kept secret. The people of Pecica inherit the secret recipes from generation to genera-tion, because they are convinced that in this way they can bring prosperity to their families. Pecica's bread is also fa-mous because it is made out of high quality wheat, because Pecica is the best land in Plain of Arad. The round bread and the folded bread are backed directly on the traditional earth oven - brick kilns. Bakers say they use an ancient recipe: the bread is baked only in wood fired brick ovens made by Gyp-sies. It takes several hours (more than 5 hours) until the oven is heated; meanwhile, the backers knead the dough, and after that the dough have to yeast. After that , the fire from the oven is extinguished and the dough is backed. The flour is made in the area, while the yeast is homemade and pre-servatives free. Bread can stay fresh for ten days if it is kept in a cool room. The famous bread of Pecica reached until 1989, to Bucharest for the presidential food for the former dictator Nicolae Ceausescu. A team of former security ser-vices take every morning ten breads, which were tasted by a taster, to not be poisoned. Bread was transported to the capital city Bucharest by plane. Recently, Pecica's bread was taken even in European Parliament by a member of Europe-an Parliament from Arad. Pecica's bread might be the second Romanian traditional product to be protected in the Europe-an Union. Each summer, on August 15th, in Pecica is a great celebration in honor of bread - The New Bread Feast. It is said that who did not eat bread from Pecica it means that has not yet tasted a real bread.

Romanian Legends, Myths or Stories

The old stories tell that in the cave a dragon used to

live in ancient times, which the inhabitants used to call

Solomat. The dragon used to steal a beautiful girl, ei-

ther in the New Years’ Eve or in the night before

Girls’ Fare at Gaina and he used to hide them in an ice

palace that was never seen by the inhabitants.

Another legend says that, there used to be two water

basins that were full of water all the time. They were

situated behind the lime formation called nowadays

―La Brazi‖. It is said that the person that kneeled be-

fore the basins, uncovered his/her face, drank the water

and made a wish, that wish would come true. The only

condition for that to happen was that he/she had the

obligation not to tell anyone the wish he/she made.

The Legend of Scărișoara Cave

In the town of Pecica, Romania, there is an important fountain. This fountain was built by the notary Momac, in 1897, that's why, all peo-ple from Pecica are calling the fountain "The Momac Fountain". They said the water of this fountain has a special power: the one who will drink from this fountain will someday come back into the town.

The story of the Momac Fountain

Bears Cave dwells an ex-

traordinary range of stal-

agmite and stalactite for-

mations varying in size and forms as well as a lot of

like marks and fossils of cave bear - Ursus Spelaeus

- which disappeared more than 15,000 years ago.

The name of the cave is due to the numerous bear

fossils, which were found there, so therefore it rep-

resented a favorable place for shelter for the animals

that used to live there 15000 years ago. Owing to

the falling

of a huge

rock, the

mouth of the

cave was

blocked and

more than

140 bears

were

trapped in-

side. Being

hungry, the

bears attacked one another until they all died.

Bears cave

The enormous cavity is

dug by water in red, vio-

let and yellow sand stone,

making it a unique phe-

nomenon in our country.

It is the result of a power-

ful erosion process with a 600 meters diameter and a depth

of 100 meters. The erosion is still in process and the hole

gets bigger and bigger. For example, 80 years ago – on old

maps – the place was marked down as a small gap. The

edges are sharp, like razors that point to the center of the

hole. Situated 9 km

from Arieşeni after

finishing a 50 minute

walk off the road ( 10

-15 minutes climb),

the hole can be ad-

mired in all it’s splen-

dor. The road is ac-

cessible all year and

is marked on the

DN75 road.

Comenius - Chapter 6: Romania!

For me, this experience was abso-

lutely stunning. I am new in this pro-

ject and I can say that the week

spent with all those children (who

are now all my friends) changed my

life and myself completely.

The language you talk does not

define you and I figured out that we

are pretty much the same: we all

love to have fun, to laugh, to do cra-

zy things and to spend time with our

friends.

Our trip together started Monday

morning at 8 o’clock , when we left

Pecica, going to Arieșeni, a beautiful

place in the mountains. The view

was absolutely stunning, and we

were all very happy to have the opportunity to see all those nature beauties. When we got there, we

enjoyed a few traditional specialties and then we started to walk by foot to the Scărișoara’s Cave.

It was marvelous, it was like we were in another world, even if it was a little cold in there. When

we came back and we arrived next ti the bus, the teacher counted the students and she realized that

three of them were missing. We started to look for them, we found them and then we went to the

hotel where we relaxed and we had a well-earned night sleep.

The next day we visited the Ruginoasa’s Hole, and after we had lunch, we left the mountains to

return back to home.

On the way back, we visited an antiquities museum where we could see a lot of old stuffs. When

we arrived in Arad, the teachers remained there at the hotel, and we returned to Pecica, being very

tired after a long day on the road.

Wednesday in the morning the Spanish arrived too, and we started our expedition to Bezdin’s

Monastery. We stopped at every significant point in Pecica: the churches and we saw Momac-ul

(the famous fountain of Pecica). After we left the City Hall, we eventually got to the Mureș river.

We’ve crossed the river using the tickets made by our teacher :) and then after 5km by feet, we fi-

nally arrived to the Bezdin’s Monastery. When we returned from there, the parents prepared us

some barbecue and after we filled our stomachs we came back home.

Thursday started with the rehearsals for the Saturday’s show at the Cultural House. In the after-

noon we went to Bodrogul Vechi, where we played together some games; paintball was the game of

the day and we enjoyed it, even though a heavy rain surprised us. After we finished all that, we had

dinner and returned home exhausted.

The next day started also with new rehearsals and around 14 o’clock we went to Arad where we

visited the two cathedrals and we saw the stores down the boulevard. In the evening when we ar-

rived in the front of the school, we asked the driver if he could take us to the park, but unfortunately

he refused, so we had to walk to the park.

Saturday in the morning we went to the Cultural House where we had some rehearsals again for

the show that took place at 18:00. When the show was over, everybody started to cry, because we

all knew it was the end of the project and we had to say with our eyes full of tears ―this is it!‖. After

that we had a party with all the students, before everybody started to leave Sunday in the morning.

After all of them left, the next days were horrible because we missed them a lot. I cannot explain,

but I feel that we became very good friends and it’s nice to know that you have somebody you care

spread all around Europe.

Moreover, in the Italian education

system, there is one more year than in

Greece. Also, we were informed that it is

quite easy to get in the university but only

few finish it. In Greece, things are quite

different, because getting into university is

as hard as finishing it. One thing that real-

ly impressed me was that all students

how the opportunity to choose a lesson

they want to attend, far instance infor-

matics, cooking, arts etc. that action is

very important for the students because

they gain practical skills for the lessons

and exercise their interests.

I wouldn’t know. It was amazing to have

Georgia Klifopoulou - Greece

Greece and Italy are both European

countries but although they are near

to each other, they have a lot of differ-

ences in their educational system, from

the school accommodation. So many

tings impressed me during my stay to

Italy.

To begin with, the first impression I

had when I first saw the school build-

ing in Reggio Emilia was that it was

very big, concerning the school in my

country. Also the sport accommoda-

tion was incredible, since it has 2 foot-

ball and one basketball pitches. Some-

thing else I noticed was that there

were many special laboratories for

instance, for chemistry, computers and

physics. Another thing was that stu-

dents there have more freedom and

that can be seen from the fact that

they are allowed to have wallpaper in

the walls of their favorite singer actor

or TV show.

2 Years in 358 words?

At the 10th of this May our Comenius experience officially

ended. Two years foul of activities, foul of new friendships, foul

of knowledge. And by saying Knowledge I do not mean just

memorized information about places or legends. I am referring to

that great good education is orienteering to.

In Greek the word is μόρφωσις ( morfosis ), from μορφή

(morfi), which means shape. It is a strong belief of mine that

during those two Comenius years we did exactly that. We helped

our students and ourselves to shape in our hearts and minds plac-

es and legends. Gaziantep, Lodz , Reggio Emilia , Barcelona ,

Pecica , just like Mioritza, Pan Tardofsky , Serralonga , Matilda

and Siren are now knowledge related to Camelia, Giselle, Magda,

Patricia and Cemil. They have the same physically experienced

character of paella , kebab , goulash , pizza and Romanian pork

meat balls. Sounds and images escorting the other senses travel

back to a memory journey, where many unknown, foreigner Oth-

ers, became friends, where all our differences were not reasons to

divide, but challenges to explore, where our personal communi-

cation boundaries met a tremendous widening, where learning

found and practiced on new interesting ways, where each one of

us presented our selves, our skills, our personalities, not as some-

thing to be measured, but as potential of human interaction.

Each topic, each information, each skill, task is connected to

persons, feelings and sayings. Those connections are what I

would name relation education. And I return to a Greek word.

The word for asking for a relation is κλήσις (klisis) and has the

same etymological route with the word κάλλος (kallos) which

means beauty.

So anything beautiful, truly and deeply but also simply , asks us

to be related with it. Cultivating our students ability to discover beauty in learning and get related with it was as I said a jour-

ney, a lifelong experience. It was our journey, our European Journey Through Legend.

…. As for my title question, the answer is ... impossible! Zahos (Greece)

After thinking for such a long time, the best version what to write in here is thank you, kisses and hugs. It is re-ally amazing to get so many wishes from you. :) I know I didn't wrote so much , but believe me, it is from my junk's heart.

I LOVE YOU ALL! Agnieszka, Poland

Thank you! Dziękuję! Grazie! Teşekkür! Ευχαριστώ! Gràcies! Muțumesc!
