Sandy beaches, blue-sky waters, and

palm tree-lined shores, amazing

volcanoes, and glorious sunsets are

some of the things that probably

come to mind when you think of

Hawaii.

But a beautiful natural environment is

not all there is to enjoy in this earth-

bound paradise, as this group of

islands is also home to people with a

rich and diverse culture.

The culture and tradition of Hawaii

are actually reflections of the land's

innate beauty.

* The State covers the quasi-totality of the chain of islands in the Hawaiian

archipelago, made up of hundreds of islands spread over 2400 km. In the

extreme southeast of the island group are the eight main islands, which

are, from Northwest to Southeast, Niihau, Kauaʻi, Oʻahu, Molokaʻi, Lanaʻi,

Kahoʻolawe, Maui,andHawaiʻi.

The "Ka Hae Hawai", known as the Hawaiian flag is the official flag that

symbolizes the state of Hawaii as a republic and state in the United

States. Ka Hae Hawai'i is the only flag in the United States representing

different forms of government and the only one with the flag of the

United Kingdom. Ka Hae Hawai'i is the Union Jack. The flag field

consists of eight horizontal stripes which symbolize the eight islands

that make up the state. The color of the stripes, from top to bottom, has

the following sequence: white, red, blue, white, red, blue, white and red.

two pieces. The top and the skirt.

The top is made of Wood or

leaves, the skirt is made with palm

leaves. For the men only a kind of

tail cap. But with many differents

trimmings.
