They will now be flown to Paris, France courtesy of Raytheon to compete in the

international flyoff on June 24 at the Paris Le Bourget Air Show to compete against

teams from the UK and France. They also received $15,000 in scholarship money

that will be split between the four of them and $1,000 that will go into the Rocket

Club's account. The team also won first place in the Presentation Competition and

ceremony. The senior awards will be scheduled with the other class awards on May

24th at 7 p.m. in the PAC. Scholarship announcements will be made on June 1st at

10:30 a.m. in the PAC. The change was made due to the length of the senior

awards/scholarship ceremony in past years. We invite community members and

parents to our ceremony and we need to be conscience of their time away from their

daily responsibilities at the work place. We hope this change will not inconvenience

any of you! If your student is receiving an award, they will be notified. Thank you!
