Hawkesbury River
Houseboat Holiday 8th to 12th March 2021
Roustabouts RV Club Inc.
This trip can take 13 couples on three boats.
A Special Roustabouts Event
2
Boat No 1 Boat No 2 & No 3
Overview
This is a special event for 13 couples wishing to have a ‘quiet’ holiday on the beautiful
Hawkesbury River waterways in March 2021.
This event is outside our normal program and one you may not need your caravan for. The
location has secure car parking, but this is not included in this events cost structure.
We have tentatively booked three very large houseboats which accommodate 5 couples on
Boat 1; 4 couples on both Boat 2 and Boat 3.
The cost of each boat varied little, so the total price of all boats and the security deposit has
been divided equally between the 13 couples. The security deposit for each boat will cover
usage costs of fuel gas, sullage etc.
Expressions of Interest/Registrations will be accepted immediately. The $500 security
deposit must be paid into the club bank account no later 1 February 2020. The boats will be
cancelled if we do not pay the security deposit when due.
Being a Club event, we have scheduled four payments into the bank account.
Registrations will start on Boat No 1 followed by Boat No 2 and then Boat No 3. Deciding on
who is on what boat can take place at a later date by those attending. You will also need to
consider people to organise food, be ’captain’ etc.
And don’t forget
• Fishing gear
• Bait
• Warm clothing
• Enclosed shoes
• Swimming gear
• Hats and sunscreen
• Medications
• Linen & towels
