CHAMPIONSHIP. The girls played

against Sauble and won 3-1. Goals

were scored by Gillian and Court-

ney. Our goalies did an amazing job

in net. Madison Barfoot and Fiona

Boys’ Soccer Champions!

On October 24, 2019 the Boys’ Soccer Team

headed to Amabel Sauble School, under the

direction of veteran coach, Mr. Jim Collins.

There were sixteen boys who eagerly won all

four of their soccer games, beating B.P.D.S.,

Amabel Sauble, and P.S.D.S. In the end, they

met the B.P.D.S. Panthers, in the champion-

ship game. It was a whooping win, scoring 6-0

for the Hawks.

In fact, all day long, only one goal was scored

on the Hawks as Ben Gladwell did a great job

covering the net.

The boys had a fabulous day of sports and

topped it off by bringing home the GOLD!

Way to go Hawks!!

COME OUT AND

JOIN OUR SKI

TEAM!

Are you in Grades 4-8 and enjoy the outdoors? Well if you an-swered yes to either of these questions…..this is your opportuni-ty to join an exciting team – The Cross Country Ski team!

No experience or skis are re-quired! Hepworth has an excel-lent selection of skis equipment to borrow and a great group of teachers and volunteer parents who can show you ski skills and the trails!

You can choose to ski once or twice a week…and even give rac-ing a try, if you wish! Our school puts on an excellent event, at the Sawmill Ski Trails each year!

Discuss this great opportunity with your child and when a staff mem-ber offers ski forms, in class, re-mind them to be sure to bring one home. If you are concerned your child may not speak up please email [email protected], and I’ll be sure they get one!

Hope to see you on trails!

Bag2School Fundraiser
