NOTICE OF DEMOLITION
Notice is hereby given to BRUCE WAYNE CORLEY, his heirs, successors and
assigns and to all persons as provided law that the building inspector for the
City of Malakoff has declared that the buildings and the personal property
located at 204 W. Allen Street and more particularly described as Lots 18 and
19, AB 755 P TUMLISON SURVEY, MARKS & ALLEN BLK 6, to be unsafe and
unhealthy. Said buildings and personal property consists of a manufactured
home-type building, a fire-damaged building, and personal property
described as household garbage, scraps of household appliances, disused
clothing, plastic items, and weather-worn children’s toys, an discarded furniture
and the like.
This document is a written notice that the buildings must be repaired,
demolished, or removed within fifteen (15) days from the date of this notice.
Unless you request a hearing within fifteen (15) days of this notice, the City of
Malakoff will proceed to demolish the buildings and personal property located
on the premises and place a lien on the real estate for the cost of demolishing
the structures and clearing of the real estate.
The buildings have been declared unsafe because they have become a
gathering place for criminal activity, they constitute a fire hazard, they are
unsecured against unauthorized entry, and the buildings are generally
unconnected to water and sewer facilities causing a probable health issue.
