Friends, we are now collecting cleaning kit/flood bucket donations. Every year Haygood comes together to support UMCOR—the United Methodist Committee on Relief—by collecting supplies that support individuals and families that have been impacted by natural disasters or other life changing events. With the recent damage from Hurricane Harvey and the impending danger of Hurricane Irma, your donations are needed. Each week we will ask for specific donations; however, feel free to donate any items included on the UMCOR donation list in your bulletin. Thank you in advance for your support. If you have any questions please contact Wally Rice, [email protected].
This Week’s Donation Focus Item
Liquid laundry detergent (one 50 oz. or two 25 oz. bottles only)
Work gloves (cotton or leather)
Insect repellent spray (6-14 oz. aerosol or spray pump with protective cover
Thank you to everyone who continues to contribute to Intown. Intown Food Bank’s new location is at Druid Hills Presbyterian Church on Ponce de Leon Ave. Haygood is specifically asked to provide juice, soup (canned or dried) and snacks, but all nonperishable items are
welcome. Also, plastic grocery bags are needed. Please place them in the collection bins in the Gym Lobby. Thanks for your support!
