Tim’s Message

Our Personal Easter Romans 6:1-14 Today we come together to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. This day was so profound that it shifted the day of worship from Saturday to Sunday because the church felt it appropriate to celebrate Resurrection Day each week. Did you know that you have a Resurrection Day too if you are a Christian? Romans 6 makes it clear that you and I have already died and have been resurrected. Our personal resurrection must be celebrated on Saturday, Sunday and every other day, hour and minute of the week. Today we will talk about how to do just that.

If you are new to our church and have seen lots of activity going on around the property, you may be wondering how all this is happening. Last Easter, this Congregation started a three year Capital Campaign called “Rebuild the Walls”. With this campaign we have been able to renovate much of the outside as well as refurbish much of the inside. If you would be interested in joining in this Capital Campaign with a pledge over the next two years, please feel free to contact the church office.

Dear Church Family,

My heart is warmed by your outpouring of cards and concern during my family’s recent loss. Please accept out thanks. Of special note, I am truly grateful for my husband for his warm support and understanding, and my mother in law for her beautifully penned Encouragement.

The Service Ministry is so very proud of the great support shown by the church and it’s members in the 3rd annual Shrimp Boil fundraiser held last Sunday. Over Three-Thousand dollars was raised for the up coming mission trip to NY in support of hurricane Sandy victims. Also, a BIG Thank You to all those who worked so hard to make this happen. If you are considering attending this mission and have already talked to Joel or Sonny, then please do so soon.
