• Adopted 7 villages in the periphery of VSP as Model Steel Villages for all round & holistic & Sustainable development

• These villages shall have– Pucca roads, drains, Street lighting, Solar Power, tree

plantation– Protected water supply– Schools, Libraries, Community Function Halls– Health centres, Veterinary Hospitals– Market yards, Bus Shelters– Individual / Community toilets

• In one of the Model Steel villages, i.e Maddivanipalem, following Steel intensive structures taken up as per the design of INSDAG:– 1 no. Community Hall @ 900 Sq.ft.– 1 no. School building @ 1200 Sq.ft.– 9 nos.Dwelling units @ 200 Sq.ft.– 3 nos.Bus shelters @ 120 Sq.ft.

The above units will be ready by end of June,08 at a cost of Rs.30 lakhs
