Dear Parishioners, Lent really went by quickly for me. I suppose if I were a child and had given up candy for Lent I might feel otherwise. Whatever the case we now begin Holy Week; when we journey with the Lord from His passion to the resurrection. Please join us for the services of Holy Week. Remember there is no Mass on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday mornings and there is no 5:00 PM Mass on Saturday. During Lent we have had meatless dinners on Friday nights. There is no dinner on Good Friday. We have to thank those who work to fix those meals: the Ladies Guild and Jackie Lauer, the Knights of Columbus and John Tugwell, the Pastoral Council and Pete Ball. Without all these people we would not be able to carry on this fine tradition.
If you are traveling for the Easter holiday, drive safely. If you are staying here, join us as celebrate our faith.
Remember we have an extra noon Mass to help with the crowds at Easter. God Bless, Fr. Mark
March 20, 2016

Faith Facts: Lent is a time of fasting, repentance and reflection. Make smart media choices that reflect your moral values. Let go of a long standing grudge. Practice real forgiveness. Call a relative you are out of contact with. Smile at everyone you meet today. Ask the Lord for forgiveness for all your sins. Imagine how the apostles felt as Jesus was carried away.

This booklet will hold crosswords, coloring pages, word searches, puzzles, and more - all related to the Gospel. Pick one up – take a look. If your child would love to have an activity during or after church to fully engage all of their senses in the Gospel, I think this is it.
