The "Power Panthers” are a team made up of students in grades 2–5 that are sponsored by the American HeartAssociation. They travel throughout the local counties to perform jump rope shows that promote health andfitness. They also promote the Jump for Heart and Hoops for Heart programs that many schools participatein. This is the youngest team in the state of Maryland, and they have been participating for the past 25 years.

Kaiser is a 160 pound great dane. He is coming up on his second birthday and has excelled in his training as atherapy dog. Kaiser is a giant, sweet, fun loving volunteer for Pet’s on Wheels. He loves attention and hasnever met a living thing that he doesn’t adore. Kaiser provides companionship and comfort for residents ofnursing homes, care facilities, schools and libraries. Come and visit with Kaiser and see what a difference hecan make in your day.

Students in Grades 3, 4 and 5 take part in a STEP program that emphasizes academics as the first step tosuccess! Students complete homework and reading assignments before practicing routines. Students performat various schools and community events throughout Wicomico County. The academic emphasis placed onthis program centers in the area of reading. Each month students set reading goals and are evaluated usingthe Accelerated Reading Program in order to monitor their progress.

The Feet of Fire! Performance Troupe is an elite group of dancers ranging in age from 4–18. Come and watchthem perform an upbeat demo that includes tap, jazz and hip hop routines.

• PRMC’s Traumaroo – Troo, the Traumaroo, is the mascot of the American Trauma Society andteaches children important safety habits. Traumaroo was developed in 1994 by the AmericanTrauma Society to help reduce preventable injuries among children. Troo’s handlers will behanding out information regarding bicycle safety, home safety, playground safety & more.
